This fabulous house is located on the Briarcrest Country Club Golf Course (now the Phillips Event Center) in Bryan. Situated at the end of the cul de sac, the house exudes calm. Five sliding glass doors bring inside the serenity of the woods and golf course, and lead to patios and a deck perfect for relaxing, whether it be coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening! This house is a hidden gem, comfortable and private, but with quick access to everything including shopping, restaurants, medical facilities and schools. If you enjoy golf or tennis, the public Briarcrest golf course clubhouse is a short walk up the street. The house is located at the 7th Tee. Comprised of 2181 square feet, there are four bedrooms which sleep 8 comfortably, and three full baths.
Built in 1974, it is slightly vintage to its roots, which we think adds to its charm! We've owned it since 2002, however, so the important things have been updated: new chair height toilets in each of the three bathrooms (don't laugh, a lifesaver if your knees are shot from playing hard!). There is a new on-demand hot water heater system to accommodate your whole party's needs when showering before an event! And upon request from a previous guest, the living room now boasts a 65-inch Smart-tv, bigger and better for watching football games! And a new electric ceramic cooktop has been installed in the kitchen.
The bedrooms and kitchen are well appointed to meet each guest's needs. With memory foam platform type beds, Egyptian cotton linens, plush spa bath towels, matching dishes set for 12, matching wineglasses, brand new pots and pans for the new cooktop, our goal is your comfort and pleasure. The living room has a gorgeous leather couch and loveseat set, and the dining room a lovely dining table with ample seating. A fire pit and grill are available outside.
The artwork is eclectic and obtained over the years personally, so please take care, and I am housing part of my father's library, so please do not disturb. We have wonderful retiree neighbors, the reason parties and events are not permitted, so please be respectful. The house is a short walk to Bryan High School, 1.5 miles to the Brazos Center, 5 miles to Veteran's Park, 7.5 miles to Texas A&M University, and 14 miles to Santa's Wonderland! The neighborhood opens onto Briarcrest Drive which leads to Hwy 6 (the By-pass), and fast access to anywhere, whether that be Texas A&M University, or Messina Hof Winery! We hope you will enjoy your trip to the B-CS area and that our home helps make your experience even more pleasant and memorable!

Summary: The stay was awesome. Communication was great as the owner continued to check on us. She allowed us to check in a bit earlier and gave us the liberty to leave as we pleased on check out day. Home was older in some respect but owner has added decor and updates to make things better. The location is great especially near the golf course area.

Summary: We truly enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with our Aggie grandson who is a freshman this year. It was a busy and fun weekend playing TU even though the Aggies lost. The living area is very comfortable and we had plenty of room to watch the game on a large flatscreen. The dining area was great and we played cards with the grandchildren. There is an outside seating area with a view of the golf course. When the weather was good, we enjoyed sitting outside. The host was very thoughtful and replaced the double ovens because she knew we were eating our Thanksgiving meal at the house and one of the ovens was not working property. We would certainly stay here again in the future!

Summary: My daughter just got married this last weekend. My parents, daughters, and their spouses all stayed with us at this home. It was beautifully maintained and comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and easy to work with. She was far more helpful and accommodating than I would have ever dreamed. The location is perfect. Everything you would need is nearby, and downtown Bryan is also very close. I could not have asked for a better or easier place to stay during such a busy and exciting time.

Summary: This home is by far the best place our family has ever stayed in for a football weekend. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for more. The home is situated on a cul-de-sac and the neighborhood is very quiet. It is exactly as described in the listing. Our grandkids had plenty of room in the backyard to throw the football and there are several outdoor chairs. You can watch golfers during the day or wildlife at night. The family room is huge and so is the TV. It’s perfect for big groups. The Wi-Fi connection is very reliable. There are various eating options and a Walmart in the area. We made several trips to the A&M campus and the drive was easy. The home is clean and orderly. You’ll find lots of dishtowels, comfy sheets, thick bath towels, soft throws and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Although we did not cook, the kitchen is well stocked. Everything you might need is there. The washer and dryer are located near the kitchen and work nicely. We all decided that we wanted to come back on a non-football weekend so we could just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I could go on and on. Last, but not least, Kris is a super great host!

Summary: This was a unique and comfortable place for the seven adults in our family to stay while in town for a memorial service. Kris, the host, was very friendly, easy to communicate with and responsive to our special needs.

Summary: Located on a quiet cul de sac, this property backs up to a golf course. The interior of the property was very clean. I particularly loved the fluffy white towels. Bed linens and mattresses allowed for great sleep. There is a large smart tv in the living room and plenty of places to sit. Very cool and comfortable inside on a hot and humid College Station weekend. Owner has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap in each bathroom. The showers have good water pressure. In the kitchen, we found several varieties of coffee, water and drinks in the fridge, and even a few snacks. I purchased some creamers and sugars for our coffee. We didn’t really use the kitchen except for morning coffee. Nice washer and dryer. There was an ironing board and very nice iron. Yes, some of us still iron. Blankets and extra pillows in the hallway linen closet. I can’t imagine needing anything more. The owner is very personable and quick to respond to questions. Loved our stay at this College Station property.

Summary: Some might look and see no upgrades... This house is immaculate and extremely comfortable! Kris is a wonderful host and communicates well about every detail and was the sweetest to leave fresh flowers on the table and a few special snacks for us when we stayed for our son's A&M graduation. Beds were comfortable! We would love to stay again!
