Summary: Great location with a nice view. A little dated but still very nice inside. Deer can be found everywhere in the neighborhood as well as your front and back yard. Definitely would stay there again!

Summary: Our vacation rental was supposed to be a delightful retreat, but it quickly turned into a culinary comedy of errors. Picture this: a hopeful family of 7, ready to enjoy a cozy home-away-from-home meal after a full day at Silverwood, only to discover that the oven was more of a chilly cupboard, & the BBQ a metal block of false promises. Our current & future dinner plans crumbled faster than a poorly baked pie crust. The oven, which couldn't muster the heat to cook an egg, left our chicken pot pie in a state of raw ambition. The BBQ, on the other hand, was as empty as our stomachs, with a valve more stuck than our situation. Sandwiches became the unexpected heroes of the first day, saving us from the growling beasts of hunger. When we reached out to the property manager, his response time was longer than the lifespan of leftover sandwiches. If I had known that 'fully-equipped kitchen' meant testing our survival skills, I would've opted for a hotel with a pool & a buffet instead of a culinary obstacle course. As for the playground promised in the listing? It was as real as a unicorn, though we did find a deflated ball, a fitting metaphor for our deflated expectations. Despite the unexpected twist in our vacation plot, where cooking turned into a culinary quest beyond our rental's kitchen, VRBO & the property owner seemed to miss the memo where compensation saves the day. They called it a 'minor inconvenience,' but we were left to embark on a costly pursuit of sustenance.

Summary: This home was a beautiful place for me to take my nieces and nephew for our annual Auntie trip. The house was very spacious, clean, and had plenty of space for everyone to hang out, but also spread out when alone time was needed. If you're planning to book this home to save money by eating in, I would recommend packing in your own knives as the kitchen wasn't well stocked with sharp enough utensils which put a damper on prepping food we packed in.

Summary: Nice spacious home, convenient location, fair price. Host was very nice but the property manager wasn't responsive to issues. Front door electronic lock worked only once, and the latch itself was inoperable. These issues weren't addressed during our 4 night stay. Overall home needs some TLC and better property management to move up from a 3 rating.

Summary: The property was very unclean, door code worked less than 25% at one point we were locked out of the property for what could have been multiple hours after contacting owner to unlock door he claimed to have went in to a bad service and really didn’t seem to care we were locked out. We were able to get in through a window we left opened. The bedding hadn’t been washed proper prior to check in so we washed all bedding before using. Most of kitchen dishes and pots and pans were put away dirty and had to be rewashed before use, there was a garbage bin under the microwave not emptied. The side door onto the deck had dirty dog prints and dried mud smeared up the door frame, dried dog feces all over the yard. The deck is covered in garbage and debris, burnt out light bulb left on barbeque side table?! One of the bedroom doors would not close and has been like that for a long time. There was balled up hair in the basement shower and water would not drain so we had to plunge it to drain, we contacted the owner who instructed us to contact property manger. Under the cushions of the couch had a lot of garbage and hair looks like it has not been cleaned ever. There is chewed gum stuck under the tv mount and behind the main bedroom night stand, also garbage under and behind just about every piece of furniture including puried fruit squeeze packages. There was dirty clothing and medication left behind from previous guests. Over all this property was disgusting.

Summary: My family enjoyed the open floor plan and especially the living room with the very inviting oversized cozy couch and chair and fire place ambiance! The backyard was fantastic for our four-legged family members, as they were continually entertained by the neighbor pooch and wild turkeys. We enjoyed the view of the lake and the turkey parade through the great big bay window in the living room. A very comfortable stay for the entire family!

Summary: Beautiful quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. Deer and turkey were present daily. The only recommendation would be the addition of a coffee maker.
