With breathtaking views of Lake Huron and all the amenities you could need for a cozy retreat, but we also have kayaks and a lakemat - this place is an absolute paradise for families and couples alike.
INSIDE
When it's time to come inside, our rustic interior design will transport you back to a simpler time. Think 50's vibes with all the modern amenities you could want. From the air conditioning to the gas fireplace, you'll be comfortable no matter what the weather is like outside. And when it's time to wind down, our wrap around couch and SmartTV with cable and DVD collection provide the perfect place for a movie night in.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal including a dishwasher. Prepare your family favorites with ample room for helpers at the island.

OUTSIDE
Our outdoor space is the perfect spot for your summer adventures, with multiple decks and a Gas BBQ ready for your grilling expertise. With seating for up to eight at our outdoor pub table, you can gather with friends and family for meals al fresco, and enjoy an evening glass of wine around the propane firetable. But the real highlight of our outdoor space has to be the sunset deck, where you can unwind with a good book or catch the game on our large screen SmartTV while taking in the breathtaking view. Paddle around the calm waters of the lake in one of our kayaks, exploring the shoreline and taking in the beauty of the surrounding nature. Or enjoy the lake mat for some bouncing and splashing in the water. Outside there is always beach on our seawall with retractable stairs to the water edge. Perfect spot to suntan and in evening gather round the wood firebowl for roasting marshmallows.
NOTE: Approx. 60 stairs down your private access. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Both Grand Bend and Bayfield are within a 10-minute drive of the cottage, making it easy to stroll Bayfield's quaint Main Street (and catch one of the world's best sunsets at Pioneer Park) or take to the water in Grand Bend with its sandy, lifeguarded beaches and watersport rentals. Sample both Grand Bend's nightlife and Bayfield's boutique shopping, and visit the farmers markets in either town to pick up local ingredients for dinner. Or let someone else do the cooking—both towns have plenty of options, from fine dining to casual pub fare.
With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.
