Positive: Pros- - Owner was responsive, kind and pro- active. - We loved the outdoor area- and is where we spent most of our time. Loved the garden. - Kitchen is very well equipped. - The beds were clean, very comfortable and warm . - The charger compatible alarm clocks were convenient. - Very safe and Very Secure. - Small sandpit area for children - Cons- - Unfortunately we had a major plumbing issue, which was inconvenient but unavoidable and out of the owners control. The owner was very helpful in the matter and acted as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. We really did appreciate this. - The gas heater in lounge wasn’t working during our stay and the ducted only does cooling. Portable heaters were provided but we were a bit cold , ensure this is fixed if staying in winter . Outdoor area has no heating or cooling. The fire pit is around the otherside away from the general outdoor area. - We weren’t able to get the radio/ Sterio to work , and suggested some operation instructions. - There was only one T.V in the lounge and when it came to down time , for our group size and house size would have like to have seen another one , there looked like there may have been one outside previously. The lounge also had minimal seating which was comfortable but a few additional lounge chairs for the house size may be a nice addition. This was a personal opinion and didn’t affect our stay. - Cleanliness could be better and needs to be discussed with the cleaner. The property certainly wasn’t dirty but it wasn’t clean. It needs a good dust, and the bathrooms / toilets need a good very good deep clean. - outdoor play area for children sandpit need a few bags of fresh sand. Despite a few challenges we enjoyed our time and stay here and we wouldn’t rule out staying again in the future. The owners ability to communicate and resolve any issues during our stay here , was very appreciated and we would like to thank them for everything they did to make our stay comfortable.

Positive: The location was perfect. Close to everything. The communication with Brenton was very easy. The house is very cute and the styling is unique. The outdoor dining area is wonderful for entertaining. The cleaners need to be more thorough. The vacuum cleaner hadn’t been emptied for months if ever. The fridge should have been wiped out before our stay.
Summary: Comfortable stay with the luxuries of a home.

Positive: The house and facilities were fine, as described, we liked the location and everything in the house worked. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean.
Negative: The cleanliness of the house when we arrived was dreadful. The floors had not been swept or mopped, all surfaces were dusty, every worktop and table was sticky to the touch and every mirror was greasy and smeared Under the beds had not been cleaned, underwear and hair bands from a previous occupant and also broken glass was found under the outside table, the windows of the living room were full of cobwebs and dead insects. The bath had not been cleaned either. We spent an hour and a half cleaning just after we arrived, so that our family would not also be disapointed by the cleanliness isues. This was a good property which was let down by a lazy or incompetent cleaner. The two other bedrooms we felt were very small, with no hanging space and only having one bathroom between six people was not ideal.
Summary: Once we got over our disapointment with the cleanliness issues we enjoyed our stay.
