Serenity is what guests will experience when visiting this quiet home in the Pointe San Luis Galveston Island. The bayside of Galveston offers sweeping, open views of the bay where guests will enjoy the many different birds that also call this area home. Guests may watch gorgeous sunsets from the multiple decks in this home, sit out and have a morning coffee and listen to the quiet of the west end of Galveston Island. If you and your family are looking for a peaceful, serene setting this is the home for you. This home has both Gulf and Bay views! The home offers a double-wide driveway and a large yard for playtime.
This home features an open floor plan and high ceilings for terrific views. The home has tile floors throughout. The spacious primary suite offers French doors out to a deck.
Serenity's kitchen is fully outfitted for a group of 8 people, all dishes, utensils, and cooking implements are provided. Guests only need to bring food and bevs to begin a family vacation that will provide a lifetime of memories. Full-size washer dryer available for guests. This home also has cable television and wifi for the convenience of guests. The views from both inside and outside are breathtaking!
The primary suite has a king-size bed and en suite bath with shower and double vanity. The second bedroom features a queen bed. The second bath has a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom features two sets of twin bunks and a twin trundle bed (sleeps 5). Everyone sleeps in a bed!
Serenity also has covered full-width decks on both the front and back of the home - plenty of seating where guests can catch a cool breeze on warm summer evenings. The exterior shower is the perfect place to rinse off after a day at the beach. Charcoal grill available to prepare the catch of the day (bring your own coals and lighter fluid).

Playa San Luis, on the beachside, offers numerous beachside dune crossovers to access the beach, and Pointe San Luis, on the bayside, offers a seasonal community pool and hot tub.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Summary: The house was what we expected. Clean fairly well stacked. Be sure to bring your own trash bags and laundry detergent if you plan on washing any clothes. Coffee maker didn’t work but they brought a new out the same day. Had a great time! Thanks!

Summary: This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Serenity. It is a beautiful, contemporary home that is enough space for 5 of us. We also love the location on the west end of the island, away for the busy Seawall. The beach is just a short drive across the street and you can park right on the beach. We love not having to carry everything. We had a great time!!!

Summary: Excellent location, just across from a beach access road. Very quiet with grazing cattle and bunnies on the bayside. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Online check in was excellent.

Summary: If you’re looking for quiet this is the place. If you want attractions close by stay somewhere else as Galveston is a 25-30 minute drive.

Summary: A breaker issue upon arrival made for a slow start to my Christmas vacation ...the fridge and a few outlets in the kitchen were off, electrician and representative had to come to resolve the issue...After a few hours the issue was resolved..The house is in a very nice, quiet area and you have views of the bay side and beach side of the island. I loved everything about the house except the stained carpet and the initial smell of either pets or just being closed up too long without the ac on.The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your favorite meals and three of the four tv’s all have cable. The bunk bed room has a tv you could use with your own DVD player or hdmi adapter connected device. The largest bedroom has a very comfortable bed and or bedding. The customer service I received from Ryson Vacations representatives was helpful in turning my slow started vacation, into one that will be memorable for the family time shared..I will definitely look to book with them again in the future.

Summary: Overall the stay was good. Minor issues with guest bathroom tub not draining. And we woke up to ants all over kitchen counter. We would still return in the future!

Summary: When I booked the property I read the reviews thoroughly and feel like they were on point. The house was spotless upon arrival, and while they don't provide any food amenities (i.e. condiments, etc.) they have great cooking amenities including a toaster, blender, and multiple coffee options (drip, french press, kuerig). The beds were comfortable and the views from the balconies were incredible! You can see the ocean in the distance, and the sunrise on the back patio took my breath away. We brought a small child and dog and felt like it was incredibly safe and secure, with little room for them to get into trouble. The beach is within walking distance and is very clean and not crowded (we did go during off season). The only downfall, and I was prepared for this, was that the house is very far away from any real restaurants or food. But the upside is the area feels very private and peaceful. Just plan for groceries! We will definitely stay here again and enjoyed our vacation immensely.

Summary: Pointe San Luis is on the west end of Galveston Island - almost to the toll bridge. It's a ways from Galveston, but that's what makes it wonderfully quiet. Overall the unit was fantastic! The unit was very clean and well appointed with just about everything we needed. The living area was very comfortable and the TV had cable and all of the usual apps. The beds were awesome and bathrooms had fluffy white towels (but per the listing no beach towels - no biggie - we brought 'em). The washer and dryer worked perfectly - bring detergent and softener (we did!).The kitchen is well appointed - plenty of plates, silverware and enough of the basics to whip up meals. The unit is a bit short on mixing bowls and measuring cups but we made do. We did heed the advice of other renters and brought our own paper towels and garbage bags - and glad we did. Note that the ice maker is turned off between renters so don't count on ice when you arrive. Also, there are absolutely no 'extras' in the kitchen like salt & pepper. So be sure to think of everything you need before heading to the unit as the closest HEB is in Lake Jackson - 23 miles away.Now for the outside - BRING BUG SPRAY!! This was our first time to stay on the bay side of the island and the mosquitoes were VORACIOUS. Being up on the balcony was OK, but as soon as we got down to the bottom of the stairs it was buffet time. So we didn't use the pool - too buggy. On the bright side the unit is within an easy walking distance of the beach - there is a pedestrian path to the beach through a culvert and you can also drive right across FM 3005 right onto the beach - easy! The beach is very nice on the west end. And the unit does have some beach toys. Best of all no skeeters on the beach!Our only frustration was check-in - keys must be picked up and dropped off in Galveston. Since we came in from the west that added on at least 45 miles each way to our trip - normally we would access the island over San Luis Pass - not Galveston. If Ryson changed to combo key locks - that would guarantee we would rent from them again. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but driving 90 miles round trip to get keys is a bit of a downer.Overall we had a fantastic time. The unit was great. Beach was wonderful (TS Beta not withstanding) and of course Galveston is just one cool place to visit. We loved our (almost) week at the beach - can't wait to do it again!
