Nestled alongside the rippling Deschutes River and amongst the whisper of towering Ponderosa Pines, this recently remodeled, cozy, and well-appointed two-story home is a place to reconnect with family and friends or the perfect spot for a romantic getaway to enjoy Central Oregon’s exquisite beauty.
Inside, you'll love the beautiful natural wood accents throughout the home. The large windows in each room frame picturesque views of the river. Whip up delicious dishes in the sparkling full kitchen or simply kick back by the gas fireplace in the living area.
Two gorgeous suites, one king with a full bath on the main level, and a double queen in the upstairs loft where you’ll dream under pine vaulted ceilings. Both have a walk-in closet and a convenient en suite. A living-area sofa bed and a third full bath add an extra layer of comfort.
Nearly an acre of land (not fully fenced) surrounds this classic cottage, with amenities like a picnic table, barbecue, hammock, and firepit that will draw you outdoors to the sanctuary of the river. Adirondack chairs and a hammock create a comfy spot for that meaningful conversation you’ve been waiting to have, to read one of the many books in the home, or most importantly—to nap!
Two adult bikes provide a vintage mode to take in the local scenery. There is so much to do nearby, but once you “Settle Inn,” you may never want to leave.

Summary: The house was very well organized and clean upon arrival. Instructions were very easy to follow for both arrival and departure. Everything worked just as it should like tv, fridge, restrooms, etc. Overall the house was perfect for our weekend getaway. We would both come back.

Summary: The house was amazing, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Being right by the peaceful river was lovely. Part of our group floated to the house from up the river and sitting by the river in the chairs was so relaxing. We loved the wildlife too!

There was something for everyone in the family, whether it was reading a book on the rocking chairs on the porch, playing ping pong in the garage, cooking on the outdoor grill, or enjoying a glass of wine watching people float down the river. Summary: This property was extremely comfortable, thoughtful and spacious. We are a family of 4 with a Labrador, we had plenty of room, the kitchen was we stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable. In fact I even contacted property management to get the name of mattress they had. The bedding was soft, with down comforters, the bathroom were well stocked with shampoo and conditioner. The hot tub was a treat and the lazy, quiet river in front was zen-like. The neighbors were quite and very friendly and even loaned us a stick of butter when I realized I forgot to buy some. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Sun River resort and a 20 minute drive to Old Bend. Great spot!!
