Positive: The hotel's location is really beautiful. We were there in the fall, so we had plenty of space to ourselves. But even in high season, it's great that you have two private sun loungers so you don't always have to go looking for one. Unlike many other hotels in Italy, we hardly noticed our neighbors at all; it was pretty quiet. Parking was also no problem at all, even though the hotel was fully booked. The breakfast was also very good; I can't understand the bad reviews. In addition to a selection of bread, rolls, cornetti, and cakes, you could have egg dishes freshly prepared.
Negative: At first glance, the hotel looks pretty good, but on closer inspection, you can see that it has seen better days. There are small defects or signs of wear and tear in many places (rusty tables, stained seat covers, broken umbrellas, etc.). Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn't great either. From check-in to check-out four days later, we found a hair in the bathroom and something had run down the toilet, which was not cleaned up during the entire time, which probably means that the toilet was not cleaned even once during that time. The pool was also only cleaned the day before our departure, even though there were lots of leaves in it the whole time. As others have already mentioned, the room temperature is controlled centrally. Although it was cold outside, we often had temperatures above 25 degrees at night. Only the heating in the bathroom could be adjusted, and although it was even hotter in the room during the day, the cleaning staff turned the heating back on every day to make it even warmer. We paid around EUR 150 per night for our stay in October. I thought that was just about okay. We asked if we could extend our stay by one night, which would have cost EUR 230, which this hotel is simply not worth at all.

Positive: Everything was great. The rooms are very clean, the staff are attentive and helpful, and the breakfast was quite good.
Negative: The room was extremely noisy, making it impossible to sleep. We walked around until 3 a.m. and eventually went to the reception, where we asked a staff member to check. When he heard the loud noise coming from the ventilation, he kindly offered to change our room. However, we only managed to move our belongings around 4 a.m. Unfortunately, the night was ruined, as we were unable to get proper rest and had to continue our journey exhausted.

Positive: Very friendly and helpful front desk, super delicious breakfast buffet with wonderful selection of hot and cold foods, clean rooms with comfortable beds, nice pool area and proximity to lake.
Negative: This is more of a suggestion: the driver the hotel arranged who was supposed to pick us up 4:30 am in the morning to take us to the airport 1.5 hours away never showed up, and the poor gentleman working the front desk frantically tried to find us another ride. At 6:00 am, he finally found another driver who had to rush to get us in his own small car that had to fit our large suitcases. The driver got us to the airport 1/2 hour before the gate closed and we nearly missed our flight. Very harrowing experience, but kudos to the driver, Alberto, he tried to calm us and got us there safe and sound. Suggestion: the hotel should confirm the ride the night before to help ensure the driver will show up and have a back-up driver readily available as well.
