The cabin is located on the West Bay of Little Saint Germain Lake, formerly part of the Hiller's Pine Haven resort. Now privately owned, this beautiful cabin features a wood fireplace and knotty pine décor, to create an idyllic Northwoods setting.
Seven Pines is perfectly equipped and appointed with everything you'll need on your lakefront vacation. The property features a large, open concept living area and kitchen with a large kitchen island and plenty of space to entertain and enjoy. With three bedrooms, there is room for the entire family; two bedrooms have a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds.
The cabin's lake facing deck offers incredible views of Little Saint Germain Lake and the plethora of wildlife right outside your door. The property's level, manicured lake front includes a private pier, a fire pit and a kayak to explore the infamous West Bay. Two kayaks are provided for guests to get right on the water after arrival! Fish right from the private dock as the kids swim out to the swim raft and splash in the sandy bottom lake front.
Little Saint Germain is one of the most popular fishing and recreational lakes in the Northwoods with over 950 acres to explore. Reel in a Bass, Pike or Walleye, or simply paddle through the pine-encompassed bays of the lake to witness the soaring of eagles and glimpses of deer as sneak the lake front. Summary: Our group was 5 old retired guys. We did have a great time. My contact with staff was excellent! I did feel the neighborhood immediately around the cabin was kinda trashy (area of your pole barn building and dumpster) and I would prefer a place with a little more room. Wouldn't rent Seven Pines again, but would rent from Hiller again. THX

Summary: My family of 4 stayed here during January to have family time during the winter. Check in was no problem and the road was plowed, but you should have a 4 wheel drive if you come up during the winter. The place was wonderfully decorated, nice size kitchen table to play games, 3 bedrooms with a bunk bed in the 3rd room. During the day we rented snowmobiles from a place 1/4 mile away. Two very close bar/grill places nearby, one next to the rental place and the other across the frozen lake (< 1/3 mile). At night we played family board games and in the morning you can watch snowmobiles drive across the lake as you sit at the table (sipping coffee from the Keurig) looking out the large window. Everything positive, if I had to say a negative comment it would be 1 bathroom and check out is 8:00am.

Summary: They stay was perfect, the only thing that was difficult is the 8AM check out. Make sure you don't partake in too many old-fashioneds the night before! Gorgeous home with everything you need for a group!

Reviewer Comments: We had been going to Hiller's Pine Haven for 14 years, we loved the family atmosphere, Mark Hiller made us feel like friends, welcoming us year after year, we loved this place. A couple years ago, as the company grew became more business like, just like a hotel were you are treated nicely, but no "personal touch", we still came back because of Mark and now that he is gone, we doubt we will.The location is still beautiful, the cabins are OK, but with more and more rules and penalties of $$$ for this or that, that didn't exist before, have to arrive later and leave earlier for COVID cleaning, yet there are blood stains on pillows and cobwebs on corners, no wood for the fire place, no bucket for ashes... not what it used to be, the attention to detail is not there when you cover too much. New guests might love it, older ones know the difference.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Hiller's Pine Haven for 6 years. I was disappointed that they no longer supplied the boat engine and we had to get the boat to our dock. These are services we have always had with cabin rentals. It was a hassle to have to go pick up an engine in town, drag it down to the dock and rush to drop it off at the end of the trip. The bottom of the steps were broken and dangerous with 2 pieces of rebar sticking out of the water. If someone tripped they could have gotten hurt. We love the location and the lake is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully they will reconsider convenience factors for guests and take attention to the safety issue as in general this is a very cute place in an awesome location.
