Positive: Bucana beach is pretty and remote. This bay has good beach bars. Getting to the camp you have to walk over a long hanging bridge, which made the trip there even more adventurous. The fishing village you have to walk through is very rural, but the villagers are helpful and friendly. We stayed for a few days and we enjoyed watching the fisherman go about their day.
Negative: The beach has litter. Some days more than others

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Camp Shalom, the location was amazing (on a very quite and beautiful beach) the family running Camp Shalom were amazing, they spent time with us and helped us organise a local tour, brought us to karaoke and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. I can't say enough great things about this place. We stayed in both el nido and here, in our opinion this is 100 times better than el Nido town. I count the days until I can return to camp Shalom. Ka Kiko and your family thank you for everything, I hope to see you again soon

Positive: We loved our stay at shalom camp! Highly recommend if you would like to stay outside of a busy tourist area, in a small village right on the beach. Very peaceful and tranquil falling asleep to the sound of the sea.
