Summary: I’ve stayed at many great hotels around the world, but I have to say this is in my top 3. It’s newly renovated, in a fantastic location, and offers superb service. If you appreciate luxury, attention to detail, and a hotel that provides the perfect setting for memorable experiences, this place is perfect. Highly recommended.

Summary: We loved every second of our stay here. We were upgraded to a beachfront frangipani room which was great. 4 different restaurants - all with fantastic food (Saffran was probably our fave). We had no issue getting reservations. The all included watersports (inc motorised) were amazing. The staff were all fabulous- they couldn’t do enough to help you. We’re already planning our return trip.

Summary: Probably the best hotel experience I’ve had! The hotel is beautiful. The beaches are incredible and the staff are the most obliging and attentive I have ever encountered. The restaurants and bars are varied and well run. There is just no limit to the good things that can be said about Shangr-la Maury!

Summary: I going to Mauritius for business two times a year since seven years, have tried almost all five star hotels, Shangri-La is the best in terms of location, service and food !

Summary: Our room smelled of dampness when we arrived and the air conditioning would blow cold air even when it was turned off making our room unpleasant. The hotel provided us a cleaner room. The hotel has a stunning private island which made our week trip worthwhile yet the service and food was not up to the standard of a top hotel. Especially that we stayed at the One and Only Mauritius hotel the previous week, we could really feel a lower quality of service and food. The hotel needs a renovation and a more luxurious feel
