Summary: Location is perfect for shinkansen, metro and train. The room has great view, cleaning, amenities and comfort. All Staff(concierge, bellboy, reception, restaurants, lounge, room service, cleaning) were helpful, excellent and they do their work with extra care. All food and beverages (breakfast, lounge, room service and at restaurants) are very delicious with high quality ingredients). Thanks a lot to Mr. Matthias and all Shangri-La Tokyo Staff for this great hospitality and created value.

Summary: Our stay at the Shangri-La Tokyo was absolutely exceptional and truly set the standard for luxury hospitality. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel welcome and cared for, and the level of service was simply incredible. A very special thank you to Manisha Khatr, who went far above and beyond during our stay. At one point she even personally walked us to the train station to make sure we got there easily. That level of kindness and attentiveness made a lasting impression on us. We also want to recognize Sanjeev, the breakfast and lunch manager, who ran the morning service with such warmth and professionalism. Breakfast each day was a highlight — the food was fantastic and the service was seamless. Sanjeev made guests feel genuinely welcome and ensured everything ran perfectly. Another standout was Karen on the Horizon Level, who was wonderful throughout our stay. She made the lounge experience feel personal and welcoming, and her attentiveness really elevated the entire experience. The rooms are fabulous — spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail feels thoughtful and luxurious. What impressed us most was how the team genuinely cared about guests’ wellbeing. I had injured my knee during our trip, and without hesitation the staff brought large ice packs to our room at night to help. It was such a thoughtful gesture and just one example of how they went out of their way to help with anything we needed. The location

Summary: Our stay at Shangri-La Tokyo was truly delightful. Every member of the team we encountered was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The level of hospitality throughout the hotel was remarkable. The check-in at the Horizon Club was particularly smooth and welcoming. It felt very special, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful with our family. Our 4-year-old daughter even received a small gift, which made the moment even more memorable for her. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, offering a lovely view that made our stay even more enjoyable. If there is one small point for improvement, it would be the bed comfort, which could perhaps be a bit softer. Aside from that minor detail, everything else about the stay was excellent. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the entire team.

Summary: Terrific rooms. Great service. Gym is way too small and poorly equipped. Not on par with the rest of the hotel. Main breakfast lunch restaurant has a very underwhelming buffet. Small and boring choices. Not at level of similar quality hotels.
