Positive: Location, close to the action but still secluded. We could view the skyline of Louisville and the Ohio River and river traffic. Close to small but well appointed eatery/breweries. Excellent staff.
Negative: It was great.
Summary: Wonderful rest after several days of work. Excellent staff.

Positive: Convenience to venues we were attending and reasonable prices.
Negative: Our room had a noisy & leaky AC unit (Room 611). We were moved to a better room which improved our experience. I appreciate the staff person upgrading our room.

Positive: I have never stayed at a hotel that charged for breakfast. When I saw the charge on my credit card there was an additional $5 charge. Was that the tip? Because I tipped cash. I left a $5 cash tip, and I was charged an additional $5 on top of the $13 breakfast? I paid $23 for a crumby hotel breakfast!?! The best part was when the elevator stopped working in the morning. Thank God I was only on the second floor! I felt bad for the people on the upper floors that had to carry luggage down several flights of stairs. I can tell that this hotel may have been awesome back in the 80s, but now, not so much. Also, no mini fridge in the rooms and the ice maker was broken. And no coffee station in the lobby.
Negative: Fix the elevators for God's sake. Don't charge and overcharge for what should be a free breakfast. Oh, and put a coffee maker in the lobby that customers can access 24 hours. These are very basic things to me.
Summary: Overpriced, dated hotel in a great location. Elevators are broken. Pay for breakfast?

Positive: The staff were very friendly! I like how they had a gym, pool and open bar for people to enjoy a nice drink and relax. The view was amazing looking at the river and it was overall a nice comfortable stay.
Negative: I don’t have anything bad to say about the property.
