Positive: Decent hotel. Staff is helpful. Amina at reception was particularly attentive and very professional.. location is also good not far from the beach. Few restaurants at walking distance across the road.
Negative: Our room had very bad smell on 1st night from the toilet. After complaining room was changed for 2nd night but caused the discomfort overall. They should have anticipated this

Positive: We had a great stay at the Sheraton Oman and the staff really made the experience. Jassim went out of his way to help us with everything we needed, from recommending places to visit to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He was genuinely helpful and very attentive. Susan was always welcoming when we were dining in the hotel and speaking Swahili with us made us feel instantly at home. Tharindu was excellent at breakfast each morning — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Jannat at the front desk was extremely helpful and dealt with every request we had with a smile, making everything feel easy and seamless. Overall, fantastic service from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Sheraton Oman.

Positive: The food was delicious. Breakfast , lunch and dinner buffet was superb.
Negative: The mattress and pillows were not comfortable for me. And although I asked for a softer pillow, the one I got from housekeeping did not suit me.

Positive: Very comfortable hotel with a lovely pool and garden. The staff are exceptionally nice - it felt like being in a much smaller and personal hotel. The buffets were very good value. Taxis always available to take one anywhere and overall despite Muttrah having more characterful surroundings we would return to the Sheraton for its facilities ( especially outside) and staff

Positive: High quality hotel with very pleasant decor. Room was spacious with everything you could need. Lovely pool area, excellent gym and indoor pool. Nice touch to have a bar on 13th floor. Very attentive staff almost everywhere. Vast offering for breakfast
Negative: Courtyard service could be a bit slow. The immediate area is not very interesting but it is short taxi rise away from Mutrah and Old Muscat.
