Summary: The couple who run the Sherman Inn are absolutely lovely — welcoming, attentive, and care a lot about their guests and their experience. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional! This place is truly a hidden gem!!

Summary: This is an Ogdensburg gem! The innkeepers are warm, friendly and accommodating with lots of insights about local history and things to do. Breakfast was AMAZING. Huge rooms with interesting decor. The inn is right in the middle of town and convenient to everything. You won’t find a better place to stay in Ogdensburg.

Summary: Such a cool and unique stay! This beautifully restored old school turned hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The location couldn’t be better — close to everything yet still cozy and quiet. Everything was spotless and had such a welcoming, homey feel the moment we walked in. The beds were incredibly comfortable (some of the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel!), and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating. You can truly feel the warmth and hospitality throughout the entire place. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Summary: Everything was just perfect. The rooms are huge, and the breakfasts are hot and delicious. Jim and Donna go the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable and relaxing. Sherman Inn is by far the best place to stay when visiting Ogdensburg, NY. Lots of history in this old Elementary School.

Summary: We would highly recommend the Sherman Inn. We had an amazing stay in a beautifully appointed historic inn. The rooms are huge with plenty of room to relax and stretch your legs. We slept so well and had the best homemade breakfast. We will be back!!
