You have access to the entire cottage; children and pets would love the back garden to run around. The cottage stands on a flat block with only one step, so easy access for people and any older dogs.
Hello I'm John and I live with my lovely wife Cathy in Sydney. We have a delightful cottage in Bowral that we invite you to experience the magic of the Southern Highland. Our cottage is fairly basic with one double room, one room with two single beds, a TV room (which could act as a third bedroom if needed), a combined kitchen and dining room, bathroom and WC/laundry. Our cottage is a short 5 mins walk from the centre of Bowral yet enjoys a private back drop to the mittagong creek and cheery tree blossom nature walk.
We are both business professionals, travel a great deal on holiday and enjoy the company of family, friends and pets. I currently lecture at University in addition to undertaking variety of marketing advisory assignments and board roles; whilst Cathy manages a companion animal website and national rescue awards program.

Summary: Older style small cottage with a great back garden near to Bowral township. It had everything we needed for a short stay with family. Lovely firm beds. The back garden was brilliant for relaxing with our furry friends and enjoying the local scenery and birdlife.

Summary: Small, well-priced cottage, close to the Bowral town centre. It's clean and tidy, with a secure yard that our dogs loved. The yard has a lovely outlook over the cherry blossom walk and the hill/countryside beyond. The cottage has all the amenities you require, and the level block and easy walk to the town centre are an asset.

Summary: My stay was extremely pleasant. My only issue was the back fence. I have very little dogs. Luckily, there were some materials that I could temporarily put in place to block off their escape from the rear fence. I appreciate the stay. My dogs loved the yard!

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay at Sherwood cottage! It had everything we needed to be comfortable, and the yard presentation was impeccable! The heating works very well for the cosy property. The host John was excellent, and while there was a very minor oversight on arrival (which was absolutely no fault of the host), he was beyond fair and reasonable (and prompt!) in addressing this. We truly wish we could have stayed longer, as we had such a pleasant stay and we would certainly stay again another time!

Summary: Small & quaint, gorgeous garden, close to shops/restaurants, everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Our 2 dogs loved exploring the massive garden while we loved the sunny outdoor patio. A lovely stay was had by all.

Summary: This house is in original condition very cute massive back grassed area for dogs. Walk to town so location was amazing. I just found the front room to have a mould smell which I guess goes with old houses. The double bed mattress was too hard. The shower was the best lots of hot water. If you don’t mind old smell and hard mattresses it’s a cute quaint little house.
