Positive: The guesthouse was very clean, and the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially if you order dinner at the guesthouse. The island itself is very beautiful and feels completely safe. I originally planned to stay for three nights, but I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. I highly recommend this place!

Positive: Shifa Lodge was lovely. We booked the family room and it was very spacious. I believe the lodge is new. Bed was comfortable, I had my best sleep in Maldives here. And my my the snorkeling here is magnificent. They attended to all my requests with a smile and even offered complimentary services beyond what we paid. Thank you so much.

Negative: Would be great if Shifa Lodge can offer snorkeling gear for guests. I brought my own but my friend did not.

Positive: The welcome was great and quick responsiveness of the owner! The tour was great and I am grateful that our guide did not feed any animals, but we got to see them in their natural habitat. Also, Sand provided me the paid invoice days after I checked out since I forgot to ask when I was there. Really appreciate the follow-through.

Negative: The organization of the tour was a bit challenging but we managed at the end

Positive: Everything was TOP. from welcoming to check out.Sand was always available in case i needed anything. The room was spacious for me, clean, and provided with AC and fan. There was lots of mosquito in Maldives, but Sand was supplying incense. I'd love the complimentary fresh coconut Choise of continental or maldivian breakfast available. The rooms were provided with shampoo and soap, fresh towels, and beach towels; the room is cleaned every day and had the bed sheets changed every 2/3 days.. The island is small, and the guesthouse is in the middle, a few minutes from the shore. Loved the reef by the public/south beach. At sunrise, you might see guitar sharks! Also the bikini beach is beautiful with umbrella and sunbeds. I walked barefooted everywhere on the island; locals are very nice and friendly. Sand organized an excursion, and i was lucky to encounter mantas nurse sharksblack tip sharks and see a very nice sandbank. As a solo female traveller, i felt very safe as everywhere in Maldives.

Negative: There is no chair in the room; if I'd have asked, I'm sure they would provide.

Positive: Spacious clean room with AC and wonderful breakfast. Host was very helpful, picking me up from the local ferry and bringing me back, he showed me around the island and even kept an eye on me while I was snorkeling. He even managed to advice shops and restaurants, borrowed me a snorkel and arranged a speedboat for me.

Negative: I liked everything!
