Beautiful 2 bedroom shingle style home built into the hillside. Step out on the Juliet balcony and enjoy the expansive views of the perennial gardens, song birds and wildlife. The backyard is an outdoor oasis with teak furniture, dining area, fire pit, and gas grill, be sure to check out the video! Open concept kitchen and dining room with half bath off the dining room. Cozy living room with lovely fireplace. The two bedrooms and full bath are on the second floor. 10 minutes to South Shore Beach in Little Compton, 2 miles to Tiverton Four Corners, 15 minutes to Horseneck Beach, 40 minutes to Newport, 40 minutes to Providence. This Coastal Agricultural area has so much to offer, farm stands, great restaurants, beaches, hiking trails, conservation areas. A perfect spot for a getaway! And for those that are traveling during hurricane or winter months, we have a whole house generator so you will never be without power!
When you rent this house, there is another house on the property that we stay in. Don't worry, you have complete privacy at the main house and we are very private so you will not see us unless you need something.

Summary: Nice relaxing stay at this tastefully done home by gracious and considerate hosts with a modern (i.e. open) meets farmhouse vibe. Close to hiking trails, majestic beaches and local shops, but no worries if your plans get rained out—this is the perfect hang-out house. Even with owners on same property, still feels sufficiently private, with the benefit of having any questions answered just a text away. Admittedly at the top end of what we like our VRBO $ range to be, but a super enjoyable and relaxing location for a quiet getaway that gave us enough room to entertain nearby family on a couple occasions.

Summary: Had a wonderful stay at Katherine's home for a weekend trip to Newport! The neighborhood is quaint and quiet with great local spots for food, etc and the home is even more lovely. Beds were incredibly comfortable and appreciated touches like a bottle of wine and snacks at arrival. A great stay and would return!

Summary: The house is beautiful and calming. A bottle of wine, dog treats and bags of chips for kids were waiting for us when we arrived. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking supplies you need. The living room is so comfortable and bedrooms light and serene. The outdoor space is great for kids to play and dogs to run. Amazing birdwatching from kitchen table. The hosts were gracious and incredibly responsive. We would highly recommend!

Summary: We LOVED this house so much! The location is perfect: close to Four Corners, Grays Daily Grind, family, and all of our favorite places. The house is immaculately clean which we appreciate, and so comfortable and well appointed. The yard is wonderful and our dog loved exploring. Working with Katherine and Garret was so easy and pleasant, we will stay here again and again.
