Positive: It was quirky, we had the place to ourselves. Very relaxing, Kevin and Scott were very pleasant hosts, they couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious

Positive: Super cozy place with a lot of country charm and history to the house. Loved my room, the personalized and extremely delicious breakfasts in the morning, the relaxing fireplace. Just a great place to stay. Thanks to Kevin and everyone there for being great and attentive hosts. I will be back when opportunity arises.

Positive: This B&B was a very relaxing stay for my wife and I to do a run in Middlebury, kayaking, and leaf peeping. We loved the bucolic atmosphere; we watched birds and other wildlife from the patio on the front of our room. The breakfast was excellent and everyday there was a special treat. We really enjoyed the bar in the evenings, talking with Scott and Kevin and enjoying Whiskey Pig, which is local to the area.
Negative: The only thing that we had to get used to was the lack of cellphone coverage. The wifi mitigated it, but it took us a day to adapt. That's not a rap against Shoreham, but you just need to be aware.
Summary: A very relaxing place to enjoy leaf-peeping and relax.

Positive: The inn was sparkling clean and inviting; the room spacious and comfortable. Artifacts depicting the inn’s history and a veritable library of classic literature made me want to spend an extra day or two just reading. The innkeepers were friendly, kind and accommodating. All around the perfect spot for a getaway; exactly the kind of experience one hopes for staying at a historic inn in a quaint town. Wish we’d had more time to spend, and hope to return!

Positive: They were very engaging when we arrived and throughout our stay. The hosts provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants to try. They are located very near the ferry to Ticonderoga, NY which has a famous historic fort to visit. The restaurants they suggested were all fantastic. It was enjoyable meeting them in their wonderful old tavern bar in the late afternoon, engaging in conversation, and watching them prepare classic and modern beverages. The hosts were attentive to special dietary needs for breakfast and were open to feedback so they could improve the quality of their offerings.
Negative: Nothing specifically stands out for areas to improve as they are already actively working to elevate their offerings.
Summary: Excellent and peaceful location to stay.

Positive: Our stay at the Shoreham Inn far exceeded our expectations! Our room (Junior Suite, however they call it the Orchard Room) was really comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was homemade every morning with juice, tea, coffee and ice water. Innkeepers Kevin and Scott and their server Michelle are friendly, welcoming and ready to help in any way they can, whether for suggestions and directions to restaurants or to nearby sightseeing adventures. We highly recommend the Shoreham Inn to anyone visiting the Shoreham, VT or Ticonderoga, NY area!

Positive: Our stay at the Shoreham Inn was awesome, we hated to leave (we did, however, extend our stay). We stayed in the Orchard Room (here referred to as the Junior Suite) is very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is homemade with special attention given to food allergies. They go above and beyond! Innkeepers Kevin and Scott and their server Michelle are friendly, welcoming and ready to help in any way, whether for suggestions and directions to restaurants or to nearby sightseeing adventures: Fort Ticonderoga, Mt Defiance, and the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour are all just a 7 minute ferry ride across Lake Champlain (in fact, the road the Inn is on leads to the ferry dock and takes you to Ticonderoga, NY)! We highly recommend the Shoreham Inn to anyone visiting the Shoreham, VT or Ticonderoga, NY area!
Negative: Caution: stairs to upper floors are steep, as to be expected in a 1700s building.
