Summary: Cleanliness and the comfort of the room were exceptional. Cindy was so welcoming and helpful. She was understanding of my having to go through the kitchen to get to the breakfast area due to fewer steps while I recover from knee replacement. Getting hot water in the shower took a while, but eventually it became hot. I would have appreciated a hand soap other than glycerin which I don't think gets hands very clean. Also, if you have any mobility impairments, this is a tough place to navigate. Two flights of relatively steep steps to get to the main house if you are staying in the Composer's House.

Summary: The place was cute enough and the room was clean and well maintained. The bed was not great. I think if they had all king beds it would be a game changer. Sharing a queen (a very small queen) with my teenager while doing a campus visit wasn’t ideal and we won’t go back. Most of the staff was great. One gal kind of barged into our room at 9pm looking for her laptop and then the next morning our room had a balcony and no one was staying next door so we were told we had the whole balcony to ourselves but I go out with my coffee to chill and she’s out the there on the vacant room side siting and smoking and wanting to chat and I’m allergic to smoke so much eyes were irritated all day. The scones and cookies are excellent and I think Mike checked us in he was very nice.

Summary: I arrived during a tornado warning in Monroe County, and the staff member was waiting for me at the front door. (Everything was fine, just a bit unnerving!) My room was wonderful: clean, comfortable, and just what I'd hoped for. I was in town for business and was able to get a nice, quiet night of sleep each of the nights I was there. Lovely property, very well-maintained, and highly recommended.

Summary: This is a really special and unique place. Would definitely love to stay again. Just be careful on little 500 weekend because next-door neighbors were having quite the rager that went all hours.

Summary: The Shower’s Inn is an absolutely wonderful B&B. It’s my second time staying here and this visit was as lovely as the first. It’s charming, from the main house to the Composer’s House, and the breakfast was lovely. Staff is friendly and helpful.
