Positive: Lovely home like apartment. Very close to Lego House and bus stop from the airport. Easy check in procedure. Supermarket and cafes nearby. Strongly recommended.

Positive: This apartment is located very close to Lego House and is very convenient to all services. Lego House is a couple of blocks away, grocery stores and restaurants are right the corner. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery and everything we needed. We did not prepare any meals. There was coffee and tea in the kitchen - a welcoming touch! The owners were gracious and forthcoming with information when we arrived. The location is excellent for visiting Legoland and Lego House.

Negative: It seemed odd to have the kitchen table and eating area in the smaller bedroom. It would have been nice to see that in the pictures. It also was odd that the separation between the apartment and the owners' space had no sound proofing or barriers. We were able to hear all their conversation (and they were not loud) and smell their cooking. The kitchen space is very tiny. The parking space is also very tiny. The owners were very gracious and swapped parking spaces because our rental vehicle was larger. The check out instructions asked us to strip the bedding and leave it by the entrance. When we did that, we notices that the mattress in the smaller bedroom was soiled and stained. It needs to be replaced. The shower curtain also needs attention - it was torn and did not hang properly.

Negative: The contact phone number was invalid. Fridge didn’t work and the place wasn’t properly clean. Noise through the door between rental and hosts’ living space.

Summary: Fair enough, but expected more for the money paid.

Positive: .The apartment was clean, plenty of towels, linen, toiletries and kitchen supplies. The smart tv and coffee machine is a nice little touch. The apartment is exactly as seen on photos so it met our expectations. The location is fantastic. Literally a short walk to Lego House, Billund bakery and restaurants/cafes/shops. It's also a short walk to the main bus station and teddy bear museum.. Shruti and family were very polite, welcoming and super accommodating. We were very grateful 🙏🏻 I would 100% stay here again if we were ever to visit in future.

Negative: The walls are thin, this wasn't much of an issue for us, but it might be for other people if they're trying to settle little ones especiallyif you're on a weekend visit. It was peaceful and quiet in the night, though, so a good night's sleep was possible. 🙂 this isn't so much a negative but i do feel it could be something to consider depending on your family/reason for stay. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle and single hob but it is difficult to make full meals with these facilities so we bought food items we could keep in the fridge and used local restaurants for main meals. If you want to stay on a budget and cook, be mindful it doesn't have oven/full hob facilities. These are "negatives" but would not deter my return. It was ideal for us!
