Summary: Everything was as advertised. The house was clean and well appointed and the owners were very responsive to any of our requests. It is close enough to amenities yet far enough away that you can have a nice private retreat. We will definitely be coming back.

Summary: My husband and I and our 2 sons (10 & 7) stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay. We can't wait to stay here again! The house is super clean, very spacious with 3 bedrooms and comfortable. One bedroom has a king bed (a huge room) with a TV and a futon; one room has a queen size bed with TV and the 3rd room has bunk beds (no TV.) The house appears to have been recently remodeled, with new wood floors, an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The house has AC throughout, which made it very comfortable!! From the super comfy beds and pillows/blankets....to a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need - plates, cups, utensils, coffee maker etc. The hosts are super responsive and replied very quickly to any questions we had. The backyard is very private, with a bbq , a propane fire pit and a covered area with table & chairs. On our last morning there, we were even greeted by a mommy deer and her baby grazing on the trees right in the backyard! What a special surprise it was for us to be so close to them:) And I can't say enough about the lake view from the front porch and living room...beyond GORGEOUS! The kitchen & living room are an open concept. So, we could take in that view from the kitchen or living room with the large window over looking the lake. We loved waking up having breakfast and relaxing in the living room drinking coffee overlooking the lake! There is a small beach directly across the street from the lakehouse, with a walkway path down to the beach. Not that we are complaining, but just as an FYI - the beach area is quite small and rocky. There is also a dock but a little hard to get to. From what I understand, the owners are working on it so I can only imagine how awesome it will be, as it is already very nice to have beach access so close! All in all - we just loved our stay. We were really sad to leave. Can't wait to stay here again and we are so thankful to have found this gem!! Thanks so much to the hosts for making our experience in Eagle Bay a great one!
