Perched on a cliff overlooking beautiful Oneida Bay, this cottage is perfect for those who are looking for a low maintenance, private get-away with a spectacular view of Lake George. The house , which feels nestled in the trees, is in pristine condition and comfortably sleeps six people.
Features of this home include an updated kitchen and bath, three bedrooms, hardwood floors, WiFi and TV, washer and dryer, gas grill and a large deck that functions as an extension of the house, with breathtaking views. Water access is a two minute walk to the beaches at Silver Bay Association, which offers a variety of activities and amenities including archery, nature center, yoga, fitness center, kids day camp, concerts and lectures, a craft shop, watersports, boating, tennis, hiking and babysitting and an old fashioned ice cream store for a minimal membership fee. There is also a local town beach in Hague which is three miles north of the cottage.

Summary: Efficient 3-bedroom home nestled into the woods and perched high with a view of Silver Bay and across Lake George. Located close to the Silver Bay Assoc. which we also incorporated into our trip. Great deck area for eating and lounging, well-equipped kitchen, adequate number of beds for our crew. Driveway requires a sharp right turn after entering directly off Route 9. Fantastic hosts, great communication and willingness to help to ensure a safe an enjoyable stay. Would definitely visit again!

Summary: Great house to rent. The views from the balcony were beautiful. Sunrise and sunset were great to see. This was my first time to Lake George and I will be back. The house is completely stacked with everything you need. House is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Felt very safe during Covid. Again, great house to rent in beautiful Lake George.

Summary: Beautiful home, had everything you need ( except dishwasher) but somehow we managed , lol. The place was great, so were the owners. The driveway was tricky, but when you visit the mountains you can expect that. My grandchildren are well behaved so the deck was not an issue. However if you have every active kids, you may want a place with a yard for them to play. Perfect for adults, we highly recommend.

Summary: This is wonderful property to hide away in. It's like being in a tree house!! We completely shut out the world and it was a welcome change. The house is lovely, has a SUPERBLY stocked kitchen for any cooks out there. Lee was a pleasure to interact with. My only comment (not negative) is this is not a property for small children as it is built into the side of the mountain. Which is quite amazing!!

Summary: Everything about this stay was wonderful. The place was immaculate, the location was perfect as we had a reunion within walking distance, all communications with the owner were easy and extremely timely, and we are already looking forward to returning!
