Lakefront cottage with 35 foot deck overlooking Lake George with lake and mountain views. Cottage approximately 75 feet from the water. Sleeps 5: Two bedrooms, one with queen bed, other with a twin and twin bunk beds. Private dock for mooring a boat up to 26 feet. Great swimming private waterfront and private dock.

Located on Route 9N, 30 minutes north of Lake George Village on the west side of Lake George. This is away from all the boat traffic of southern Lake George. Private road shared with owner.
Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks is less than one mile north where one can join by the day or week to enjoy their program including red clay and hard tennis courts, pickle ball, volleyball, basketball, kayaks, sailboats, boat tours, canoes, climbing wall, gym, archery, swim lessons, craft shop, painting and art classes, ice cream and homemade pizza store and other family activities. They have an excellent summer camp for ages six months to fourteen years. Organized programs are based on the age of the attendee.

Summary: So happy we found this lovely property for a fall family getaway to the Lake George area. The cottage is comfortable , clean, more spacious than we anticipated and the View of Lake George…. Gorgeous!!! The pictures here are understated. The wall of windows and sliding doors facing the lake made for picture worthy views all hours of the day. Even watched the moonrise over the mountain. Special. Heading outside - The private access to the lake - terrific! Fun for fishing off the dock, soaking in the view and letting the dog swim. Being able to walk to the nearby hiking trail(s) entrances was excellent - really allowed us to make the most of our days (helpful with short day light in autumn). The trails led to great overlooks and peaceful waterfalls. Highly recommend checking this out. Our experience with the owner was excellent. He’s very kind and helpful. From checking in on us before arrive due to to a very dodgy weather forecast, to sharing tips on the trails, the local market and activities at Silver Bay YMCA, to quickly bringing us new batteries when the tv remote stopped working. A truly pleasant experience. The cottage was roomy for this family of 3 plus a dog. Beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. Some older appliances but they all worked well. Roku TV was nice for some Netflix viewing about hours on the trails each day. Kitchen had everything we needed. The drive to Bolton Landing was 20-22 minutes. Easy. So glad we found this place and we hope to get back here again soon.

Summary: Lovely time at this property with an excellent dock and swimming area. Great LG location in in-between Ticonderoga and Bolton. It was near Tonque Mtn hiking trails. Very peaceful location!

Summary: The home was just right for us. One wall is all windows and a sliding glass door. They let in a wonderful breeze and lots of sunlight, which passes through tall trees. There are two places where you can sit and watch boats go by: one on the deck and one half way up the wood steps leading to the boat landing. My son went swimming and I water-colored from the deck. We also hiked a few nearby trails, explored Ticonderoga and Bolton Landing. Next time we'll do more hiking, boating, and swimming. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Our hosts, Forrest and Nancy, are delightful, knowledgable and helpful.

Summary: The owners are great, very friendly and helpful. Other than a strong musty smell when we first arrived (we aired it out and it was fine) the cottage was nice. The lake front was wonderful and we went kayaking off the dock every day. We would definitely stay there again.
