From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing is provided by local vendor and is intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 3 vehicles.

The Silverstrike Lodge is the perfect home base for your adventures in Big Cottonwood Canyon year-round. This lodge truly has it all, and with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a decked out entertainment room, home theater, gorgeous natural light, vaulted ceilings, hot tub, barrel sauna, and tasteful decor throughout the home, you may not want to leave! Come back off the slopes and enjoy a multitude of arcade games (over 18,100 in total), skeeball, or a round of 4-player air hockey in the entertainment room, kick back and relax in the home theater, hot tub, or sauna, or gather 'round the wood-burning fireplace for hot cocoa and conversation. Feel right at home in the well-appointed kitchen when making your meals, in the warmer months, take advantage of the grill and eat at the picnic table, or dine out at one of the nearby resort restaurants. There is something for every member of your group to enjoy when you stay at Silverstrike!
MAIN LEVEL:
-Great Room- Open floor plan with wood-burning fireplace and chairlift and sectional couch seating overlooking the kitchen and dining area.
-Kitchen- Modern, nicely equipped kitchen suited for a chef! Stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, gas range, and French door fridge, a large kitchen island with seating for 6, and all the cooking tools you need to prepare your meals! Basic spices, cooking oil, and Keuirg with K-Cups and creamer are provided.
-Dining- Adjacent to the kitchen, you'll find an accommodating wooden dining table with bench seating for 8.
-Common Bathroom- Located down the hall, with a combo shower/tub.
-Primary Bedroom- Further down the hall is the Primary Suite with King bed, gas fireplace, and ensuite bathroom. All beds are dressed in comfortable, clean linens.
-Primary Bathroom- Features include a gorgeous hand-tapped copper tub and walk-in shower!
UPSTAIRS:
-Queen Guest Room- A private bedroom with Queen bed and balcony access.
-Double Queens Guest Room- Contains two Queen beds, with a fantastic view from the top of the lodge!
-Common Bathroom- You'll find a common bathroom with combo shower/tub upstairs.
-Pool Table- Find a full-sized pool table in the common area upstairs. The balcony can also be accessed from here.
DOWNSTAIRS:
-Entertainment Room- Featuring 4-player air hockey, a Ms. Pac-man arcade machine with 60 games, a newly installed arcade machine with 18,000 games, driving game with 135 options, and a skeeball machine with 6 styles of play to choose from!
-Home Theater- Custom-built home theater with loungers and bean bag seating! Choose from the expansive DVD collection (200+ options), bring some of your favorites, stream on Disney+, HBO Max, Fubo, Paramount Plus, or Prime, or login to your Netflix account!
-King Guest Bedroom- Down the hall is a private guest room with a cozy King bed.
-Common Bathroom- Located further down the hall, with a combo shower/tub.
-Laundry- Find the washer and dryer near the back door downstairs - detergent is provided.
-Access to Hot Tub and Sauna - Head out the back door for quick access to the hot tub and newly installed sauna!

Summary: There are many rentals that do the bare minimum. This property is not one of those. Little details that made this property a gem like heated stairs at the entrance. Heated floors throughout the entire house. Beautiful ceiling and antique mountain items adorned on the walls. Humidifiers. Wood fireplace with plenty of wood. Even the silverware was unique. It is gorgeous inside and out. The property management was also very quick to respond to all queries we had. Highly recommend this property to anyone.

Convenient location to Brighton and Solitude and the perfect place to come home to after a long day of skiing. The kitchen, bedrooms, game room, theatre, everything was perfect! Bryce was extremely helpful addressing a small maintenance issue and even offered to assist in other areas. All around, an excellent stay!

From the sitting area with 2 story fireplace to the movie theater and arcade to the jacuzzi and sauna. This home is a must stay. Everything you would need is provided. Our family will be renting this home again.

Summary: This home was extremely clean and equipped with all we needed for cooking and enjoying the home. The location was fantastic-easy access to lots of hiking and to downtown Salt Lake. We weren’t able to get the Keurig machine to work and a couple of the arcade games didn’t work. The home theater system eventually worked but it took a couple of days for us to figure this out. The hot tub was amazing, as well as the sauna. Overall, a great stay.

Summary: Excellent place! Well stocked! Great to have hot tub and sauna and game room for kids! Movie room was a great place for teens and adults to spend time together. Just minutes from Silitude and you can walk to local lodge in neighborhood for meals and drinks! Highly recommended! Thank you for a great time!

Summary: Really fun and nice place. Close to several hikes for any level hiker. Great restaurants close by. Lots of games and movies. We really had a good time. The only things I’m concerned about are, first, the stove. It didn’t light properly and probably needs the burners cleaned. Second, the metal beds are really squeaky. And last, no towel bar in the upstairs bathroom. Pretty minor but would have really made it nice. Thank you for sharing your home.
