Clean, modern home situated directly on the beautiful Colorado River with uninterrupted stunning views of East and West Bays. Tadmor II is a relaxing destination for families, couples and sportsmen looking for quality accommodations. The light-filled open floor plan is perfect for enjoying the abundant natural beauty of the unique location. Thoughtful touches and pleasant decor create a home away from home for our guests.
4 bedrooms and 3 full baths means lots of comfortable space for everyone. Two HVAC units provide optimal temperature for all rooms. Sweeping uninterrupted views of East and West Bays can be enjoyed from all three roomy decks - and the sunsets can't be beat!
High speed Wi-Fi and Smart TVs make it easy to stay connected while enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings. You might even choose to bring your own voice assistant (Alexa, Siri) to use during your stay.
Plenty of parking and a private 20’ pier with cleaning table, rod holders, crab trap & high intensity fishing light will be appreciated by the sportsmen in your family - not to mention the world-class fishing! There are three 60 x 11.5 ft parking bays, two have 10.5 ft clearance and one is open-air for easily parking taller boats. This amount of private parking is unusual for new River front homes and our visiting sportsmen find it makes parking vehicles and boats a breeze!

No Pets allowed - Our daughter has extreme allergies, we cannot make any exceptions.
A high intensity sporting light attracts fish right to the back yard for great night fishing! Easily accessible locked deck boxes containing booms and spring-loaded mooring lines are located on the ground floor for your convenience and storage. Pulling your boat up to your own pier is so convenient!
Note* The health and safety of our guests is very important to us. While we are Always quite diligent about providing a clean, comfortable house for our guests, extra efforts are being taken to thoroughly sanitize before each rental. Many hosts have made the decision not to allow rentals rather than take these extra steps. However, we understand the importance of being able to get away and relax in a clean and comfortable environment, so we are glad to share our home with guests. We are limiting entry and potential exposure by extending times between guests and performing maintenance and cleaning ourselves instead of having a service staff inside the house - we have had our Covid vaccines. Additionally, guest access to the home is contact free. These and many more steps will ensure our high standards of cleanliness for your stay.
** Due to the extensive additional sanitizing completed between each guest, only reservations for 3 or more nights during high season (4 nights on major holidays)
Ideally situated to easily get you to the best fishing spots, with offshore access less than two miles away. Matagorda Harbor is an easy 3 miles and a public launch just one mile up-river. Kayakers will love the direct access across the street to East Bay. Pristine, uncrowded beaches, as well as several shops and good restaurants are just a few minutes drive.

Birdwatchers will love the direct views of East and West Bays and marsh areas. Matagorda County has been named among the top areas for bird watching in the world. The National Audobon Society recently ranked Matagorda as #1 in the nation with reports of up to 200 different species spotted in a single outing.
Owners are frequently in the area and we are happy to assist our guests by phone or text 7am to 9pm.
Providing Clean, comfortable accommodations for our guests is important to us and we ensure the house is thoroughly sanitized before each rental.

NOTE * Violation of these house rules will result in immediate eviction by the Matagorda Sheriff without return of rental fees paid and hold funds will be charged in full.

By completing a booking, the Renter agrees to all provisions in the attached Vacation Rental Agreement.
Cancellation policy is more flexible in the event a hurricane is threatening the Texas coast. We do recommend the travel protection available for purchase through VRBO if you are concerned your plans will be interrupted.
We are on a water well. We have put in a new deep water well and installed a whole house filter and an additional filter on the cold water tap in the kitchen. We do not choose to drink the water and suggest our guests bring bottled water.
As with most rental houses, renters are responsible for removing all trash from the home upon departure. There is a county disposal facility on the route out of Matagorda that is generally open Saturday through Monday.

NON-SMOKING and NO VAPING– This is a NON-SMOKING vacation rental. Due to severe allergies in our family, your cooperation is especially appreciated! Evidence of smoking or vaping, including but not limited to smell of cigarette or cigar or vaping or other item producing smoke or vapor inside the home is sufficient basis to charge the Renter for smoke clean-up and odor and stain removal from carpeting, HVAC ducts and filters, furniture, walls and any and all effected property. This type of clean-up is expensive and Renter agrees to be financially responsible for all costs involved including replacement of furnishings and loss of rent due to smoke removal service time. Additionally, a fee equal to the total rent will be charged in penalty for violation of the no-smoking/no vaping policy.
NO PETS Permitted at Anytime on Property! Our daughter has Extreme Allergies to any pet scent and dander. Her allergies can be life threatening. Any evidence of a pet or animal on the property will result in full charge to rental hold funds to cover the extensive costs of sanitizing airducts, upholstery, mattresses, draperies, flooring, etc. needed to make our home safe for her. Thank you for your understanding.
