Positive: Secluded, the cabin made you feel very comfortable it was simple and nice location.

Negative: The hot tub had a very strange odor, we only sat in it for a few minutes before the smell became unbearable. There was an issue with dog hair all over the couch and floor. The whole cabin smelled of a campfire. Had an issue with several spiders throughout our stay as well.

Summary: Nice cabin but would have been better if things were cleaner.

Positive: The location was nice. It is the last house on a little side street, and it feels very private. The hot tub was nice.

Negative: We had a terrible time getting into the home. The property provided a code to unlock the front door, and it did not work. It took about 20 minutes to get into the cabin after messaging and calling. The cabin itself was fairly clean, but there was a dead insect in the middle of the floor when we walked in. Outside of the cabin, there were many, many spider webs, even inside the screened-in porch. When we brought this up to management, they simply said that it was because we are outside and in the woods, and it is normal. However, there were quite a few more dusty spider-webs than I would have expected, even though we were understanding.

Positive: It was exactly as pictured, perfect for the two of us.

Negative: They had burnt some firewood in the fireplace before we got there and the whole place had a smell because of it. The hot tub was FILTHY and when addressed the rental company said “this will not happen again” like okay but we booked the place for the hot tub and we couldn’t use it.
