Our favourite place to come and relax, The Bach is a cosy wee two bedroom, one bathroom home-away-from-home, clean and well equipped.
Sit inside or out and enjoy the water views out across the reserve. Enjoy the views on the private rooftop terrace - perfect for sunbathing or cocktails.
Walk the Southern Hemisphere’s longest footbridge across to Whananaki South surf beach, play tennis at the school - a two minute walk away. There are numerous walking tracks for keen hikers.
The kids will love the new pump track at the school so bring the bikes and scooters. Drive over the hill to Otamure, Moureeces and beyond for gorgeous beaches.
The shop has basic supplies so bring your food.
Please bring your own bed linen, bath and beach towels. Bed linen may be able to be provided on request for $15/head.
Sorry no pets allowed.
Enquire about use of the second dwelling with 2 additional bedrooms and bathroom.

Summary: Stylishly furnished bach, a stone’s throw from the estuary, with spacious living area, and great indoor-outdoor flow. The large back house was ideal for our adult kids; comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. We loved the rooftop deck! Highly recommend.

Summary: We made a last minute booking in the winter school holidays and we were not disappointed with this cosy bach. The property was warm on arrival and the heat pump kept the morning chill away. The location was close to the shop & the school for the kids to skateboard. The fireplace on the deck and the 2nd storey deck were great additions. We will be keen to book again when the weather gets warmer

Summary: Loved our stay here. The bach had everything we needed! Everything on hand in the kitchen to cook, big yard for our dog to have a run around and a great layout for the baby to explore safely while we took in the view. Absolutely loved it, will definitely be back!!

Summary: Awesome,last minute booking but no problem with communication with the manager. Lovely Bach with every thing we needed. ( incl. tennis rackets )👍Save tidal beach and three minute drive to rocky coastal bays. Diary 2 minutes walk away and school with play ground, tennis/ basketball court and bike track...all open to public. Very quite, safe family friendly holiday spot

Summary: Great little bach, looking out on the estuary and with all the basics for a easy, relaxing stay. The place is smallish, very clean, and has a relaxed energy - the windowseats work a treat! Kate was wonderful with her generous help in regard to our late arrival, and always prompt and friendly in her communication. Many thanks!
