This updated property has everything needed for families big and small. Two seating areas in the fully gated backyard as well as a floating dock. Catch and cut your fish right outside at the fish sink and shower off with the outdoor shower.
JUST ADDED, 2 large cockpit kayaks and a paddle board! Take one or all 3 out to the channel and watch the dolphins play in the low tide with a beautiful sunset as your backdrop.
You’ll find in the garage a splashpad that can be hooked up to the hose for some cooling off as well as some yard toys and beach gear for your outings.
The front stoop is perfect for catching our 'one of a kind' sunsets that Hudson is known for.
The decor is a very unique collection of antique, vintage and thrift finds I've collected from California to Florida and everywhere in between.
The weather is superb with a gentle breeze blowing in and out of the open and spacious floor plan. When the humidity gets a little much enjoy the central air inside while looking out the windows to the canal.

Summary: We booked Helena’s house a year before we stayed. Right from the beginning she was available and helpful. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The outside sitting area was a nice place to sit and relax after a busy day. The area is very quiet and safe. We would give the area a score of 10 for walkability. You could walk to 5 restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a small store, and even the local beach. There are also lots of places to check out by car that are well worth it. Our favorites were all the state parks and beaches, Homosassa and Monkey Island, Tarpon Springs, and Honeymoon Island’s beautiful beaches just to name a few. We stayed a month and made many day trips, but we were completely happy to just stay at the house and sit by the canal. When we return to Hudson we will definitely stay at Helena’s house.

Summary: This house is located so close to all activities you may want to experience. We are golfers and my husband also does fishing. There are 5 different golf courses in this area, so fun! My husband did some charter fishing with Captain Mike who lives just one block from the house! It’s perfect for a variety of dining places, outdoor beach restaurants. Tarpon Springs, Crystal River, Clearwater were some activities we did. All so convenient to drive to. The kitchen and huge dining table provided the opportunity to make many meals as we stayed for 30 days. You have a gas and charcoal grill! Your choice! The lanai was a must have. So nice to open those doors and get the extension to the living area and fresh air. Most important, the beds were so comfortable and for a long stay, we were grateful. Thank you Helena! Yes, you have a very responsive host should you have questions. 😃

Summary: We enjoyed the house on the canal. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. The screened in patio was very pleasant to sit and listen to the birds with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The house, kitchen, seating area, and bedrooms had everything that we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay.
