Summary: Wonderful experience. Our host and owner Pal ( pronounced Paul) was delightful. The farm home built in 1624 was amazing. The halibut dinner Pal prepared was one of the best meals of our trip.

Summary: Late 1800s style decor, shared restrooms, and rustic setting and approach to facilities. The owner is very helpful and the staff is very polite. Other lodgers very friendly and it adds to the experience. Communal dinners are served but we were sightseeing so didn’t partake.

Summary: We received such a warm welcome and exquisite hospitality from the owner, who shared so much knowledge of Norwegian life with us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. This stay has been a highlight of our trip to Norway.

Summary: We have never had such a warm and friendly welcome. Don't be put off by the dirt track leading to the house, perfectly manageable on a motorbike. We were greeted with a smile and a cup of tea which was very welcome. There is the opportunity to have a meal and it was one of the best meals of the holiday. Beautiful house in a beautiful area hosted by wonderful people. If we are ever lucky enough to return to the area we will definitely return.
