Positive: Fantastic views and jive facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean nice rooms. Outdoor hot tub very cool.

Negative: Paid parking, wtf? EV charging rates rediclous.. Really room rates too expensive for what they were.. $800 a night for a view of the parking lot. $20 each for self serve breakfast,, which was good but only a small step up from contenental. Felt like the whole experience was nickel and diming you to death. Bed was way too hard..

Positive: The Skamania Lodge's location is unbeatable, just a short distance from Stevenson, Washington. The staff are friendly, helpful, and polite in their respective roles. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing lodge.

Negative: A couple of areas I think they could improve: with so many dogs at the property, it would be great if they opened the deck on nice, sunny weekend mornings so guests with dogs have somewhere to enjoy breakfast. As it stands, if you have a dog, there's really nowhere to eat — you're limited to takeout, and the room doesn't have a table that fits more than one person. We ended up leaving the lodge for breakfast both days and went into Stevens and Carson instead. The couple of times we did eat at the restaurant, the food was great, but service was very slow — it took 30 minutes just to get water and iced tea. Overall, though, the food itself was excellent.

Summary: Overall, Skamania Lodge offers an unbeatable location w friendly staff.

Positive: Beautiful view of lake and mountains, seating provided inside/outside. Fire pit was nice and having a restaurant on site is convenient.

Negative: Spa staff inexperienced and treatments overpriced. Limited options no manicure/pedicures. Men’s spa/hot tub broken thru 4 day stay. Not being advised of broken hot tub in locker room, prior to booking is inexcusable. Treatment rooms were not quiet as children could be heard running/yelling to/from pool area. Great potential but at those prices one expects “peace & quiet” during treatments. Therefore no escape from loud children as they ruled all hot tubs. Quiet zone and NO glassware must be enforced in pool/spas…it was not.

Summary: Great property but men’s hot tub closures deeply affected enjoyment of stay.

Positive: Really enjoyed staying at Skamania Lodge, although we did not make much use of the resort amenities. We spent most of our time hiking and exploring Portland, so the Lodge was just a place to shower and sleep. That being said, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the view was beautiful. We needed to work remotely for a few hours and the downstairs gathering area was perfect!

Negative: Our room was not cleaned during our stay.
