Summary: My wife and I rented the suite for three nights during the Apple festival. Everything was as described in the listing. The suite is located on the ground level of a three story house. It has a walkout patio that overlooks Lake Superior. Property was super clean and well equipped. Bed is comfortable and big. The only shortcoming was lack of true kitchen which we were aware of so it wasn’t a surprise. Apartment is equipped with a small kitchenette with no sink and cabinets. All utensils and dishes are disposable. That is spelled out in apartment description. Location of the apartment is super convenient, it is about a three block walk to downtown Bayfield and the ferry dock. There is a super nice hiking trail that is a block away from the suite. Jenna, the local host was responsive and accommodating. Staying at Skandia was an excellent experience overall. Thank you!

Summary: We had a great stay! The property was just as it was described online. The location was fantastic, just a few blocks from the downtown area. Nice neighborhood.

Summary: This rental was very comfortable, clean, and met our needs very well. It was so convenient to all the activity in Bayfield ... just a one or two minute drive to the marina or downtown. It was a bit too steep of a walk for us, but it certainly is possible. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! This space is tranquil and relaxing. It is within walking distance of beautiful downtown Bayfield. We enjoyed the relaxing sauna and had one of the best sleeps ever!We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: The place was clean and nice for a short stay especially if you don’t need to go to the bathroom. My biggest complaint is that I had to use the plunger more for two days than I do for an entire year at home. And this is from someone who lives in woods with a well and septic system.

Summary: The property definitely needs a better way to hang clothing brought by guests on hangers. Coat hooks just don’t work out very well. Also a box of tissues would be nice. Otherwise all good.
