This is the Nederland cabin people dream of finding, offered for the first time ever.
On the creek, backing to national forest, surrounded by Aspen, and only 1.5 miles from downtown Ned. The Caribou Creek Adventure Cabin provides the tranquility of the Rocky Mountains while offering modern amenities. Let this be your basecamp for all things Colorado! Enjoy the hiking trail that starts behind the cabin, mountain bike from the porch, take your gravel bike into town, snowshoe from the property, or ski Eldora during the winter season. Take time to relax and enjoy nature from the historic and stunning front covered patio. Or maybe you just want to enjoy the beautiful fall color from our biergarten picnic tables as you sit next to the year round creek and enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon pint. The Caribou Adventure Cabin offers it all.
Inside you will get to relax on our comfy furniture as you stream Netflix, HBO, etc. The main living space is heated by a gas wood stove, so no need to worry about starting a fire. The kitchen has everything you'll need to enjoy your stay, along with new stainless steel appliances. The bedroom comes with all the comfort needed after a long day exploring Nederland. The new Dream Cloud mattress will provide an amazing night sleep after all of your adventures. Both the bedroom and bathroom have heated slate tile floors, making for a cozy evening.
If you enjoy Colorado mining history then you'll love our property. The original portion of the cabin was an old brothel for the mining towns of New Cardinal and Caribou. You will notice old mining pieces all around our property, making for a truly unique Colorado experience.
The Caribou Creek Adventure Cabin provides complimentary Wi-Fi. Smart televisions are offered in both the main living space as well as the bedroom. Guest accommodations include a gas fireplace, coffee pot, kitchen cookware and utensils. Reading books and board games are next to the television.
Have a dog? Well great, we love well-behaved dogs! We do ask that your dog is on a leash as to not disturb the owner's dogs and wildlife on the property, particularly the occasional moose.
Owners live on the property in the next-door cabin. No parties of any sort will be permitted or tolerated. Contact us for information on monthly (30 day) rentals.

Summary: What a cool little cabin! My teen son and I stayed here for a deer hunt in November, and this was the perfect place to hang our hats and dry our boots. Comfortable, rustic, and well provisioned. Lots of character. Cody was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Summary: My wife, myself and our little cockapoo had an awesome stay at Cody's Cabin. We wanted to get away from the busyness of our lives for a few days and just relax. We could not have asked for a better place. Everything was as described in the listing and just perfect. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Cody was excellent at communication and answering any questions we had. We will definitely be back in the summer when we can enjoy the creek that runs through the property. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!!!!!!

Summary: This is such a charming and comfortable cabin with plenty of modern amenities. It was conveniently located close to downtown Nederland and all the beautiful nature in the area. The host was amazing to work with and the special touches were appreciated. We would definitely recommend and return!

Summary: We really enjoyed our 2 days at the cabin! Cody has outfitted the place very comfortably & has provided everything you will need to enjoy your stay. We love the history of the cabin & the structure is amazing! Also, enjoyed the quiet town of Nederland & it's brewery/shops/restaurants. The cabin's proximity to hiking trails is good, too. We would definitely stay there again!

Summary: Nice little cabin for my wife, dog, and I. Just outside of Nederland for quick access to town but far enough away in a quiet valley. The host Cody lives on the property in the cabin nextdoor and is very friendly and accommodating. Great place for a getaway!

Summary: Really great cabin stay for the weekend. The location was perfect, 5 min from downtown, and 10 min from some awesome trails. All I wanted to do was drink a bottle of wine and sit on the cozy front porch with a blanket and a book and get up and go on some hikes. My dog and I loved it!
