Units 206/208 in the Purcell Condominium is located at the Kimberley Alpine Ski and Golf Resort. You can ski directly to the main quad chair lift from the front door. Three minutes drive from the spectacular Trickle Creek golf course. Five minute drive to downtown Kimberley, which features a Bavarian theme - great shopping and many community activities in the charming town square (the Platzl).
The unit is a unique two bedroom hotel room that sleeps up to 7 adults. There is a well equipped kitchen, two baths with showers, large screen TV. Secure ski/golfclub lockers, and bicycle storage facilities are available. Central coin laundry in the common area. The common area also includes a recreation room with fireplace, TV and games.
In the summer, there is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts and an indoor dry sauna.
The Hot Tub is currently under repair.

Summary: Location was wonderful. Easy access to main lift. Great storage for equipment. Property was spacious. Would have been nice to know that the hot tub was out of order but did utilize the sauna, game room and community bbq. Not sure property was vaccuumed prior.

Summary: Very comfortable stay at this property. It was exactly as expected and just steps away from the main ski lift. Kitchen was spacious and great for all of our meal prep and clean up. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Large apartment with fully equipped kitchen and two large bedrooms, perfect for a family. Large games room off main floor lobby Easy check process and host was very responsive. Unfortunately, hot tub for the building was under repair, outside of control of host. Would highly recommend.

Summary: Traveled to Kimberley for a golf vacation. The Purcell Condos were conveniently located to the coarses we were playing at. Our condo unit had AC which was greatly needed as the temperature was above 30 all four days we were there. The unit was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool.

Summary: Came here for a family ski trip. The condo had lots of space for us (2 adults & 2 kids) and could accomodate 6 people easily. Clean, comfortable, and perfectly positioned on the ski hill. The hot tub is currently closed (awaiting approval by BC Health after renovations) but we were made aware ahead of our stay. We still enjoyed the sauna though, and the kids loved the air hockey table and foosball table in the common room. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Not a very good start to our stay when we arrived and the unit hadn't been cleaned. Then had to wait outside while the cleaners showed up and did their thing. Once we were in, the pool and hot tub were closed (waiting for a permit was the excuse we got). This would have been nice to know before booking and paying the fees - soaking in the hot tub after skiing all day is what you look forward to. So if it's not available, then that should have been stated in the VRBO ad. Lastly, and it's not a huge thing, but the instructions from the owner said there was a Tassimo coffee maker in the unit. We purchased a bunch of pods and there was no Tassimo to be found. Maybe the owners should update their instructions. It's too bad our VRBO experience left a bad impression (first one in over 10 years), because the location is perfect for skiing.

Summary: Great place. Lots of room. Well equipped. Air conditioning in each room was critical during temperatures above 30 degrees celsius. We only book properties that have air conditioning when we visit in the summer. It would be unbearable without it. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Great location on the hill. Nice walk or bike to the Platzl (though it's a big climb for little ones!). Unit was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The property has a nice grass area out back for BBQ'ing and a tennis court to play in on (great for kids when not in use). The pool and hot tub are currently out of commission, but not that's not the owner's fault. There's a lot of great lakes for swimming within a 45 minute drive to substitute (Lazy Lake, Wasa Lake, Haha Lake, Moyie Lake, etc.(!)), so no worries there! The swim rec centre in town is also great and has an indoor hot tub too. Unfortunately, we had to change our plans at the last minute and change our reservation from a week to a weekend, but the owner was very accommodating. We'd book here again.
