'Le Petit Chamois, is a charming and central located, newly built family ski/summer chalet of 115m2, with 3 double bedrooms over two floors. Ground floor; ski room, master bedroom with on-suite shower, laundry room/wc, open-plan kitchen and dining area, fireplace plus a full-width terrace with seating overlooking the mountains and charming high street of Les Contamines. Upstairs; 2 large rooms with terrace, bath/ shower and toilet. Features includes WiFi, NETFLIX, DVD, 3 TV's, dishwasher, washing and tumble dryer, under-floor heating and private carport /parking just outside the main entrance, along with a dedicate and heated ski/ boot room. It’s ideal for couples and families with its practical and user friendly layout for all; feels like a 2nd home.
Only 300 meters from the major ski-lift with all activities within walking distance include; baker, mini super market, ski rentals, restaurants, cafes and local take-away, the beginner’s slope, ski schools, crèche, a large play ground, ice-skating ring and walks along the river.
Summer time in Les Contamines-Monjoie: In summer, Les Contamines-Montjoie offers sports and leisure for all levels in a scenery of flowers, un-spoilt nature overlooked by the summits of the enormous Mont Blanc. There is a wide range of activities : Le Pontet Leisure Park (P:+ 33-450 4705 89) stands in a magnificent setting around a mountain lake and a beach style lake: zip-wire, rowing boats, walks, cable cars, camping and caravanning, an overnight stop for hikers, horse riding centre, football pitch, archery, mini-golf, golf driving range, volleyball, etc.
Summer activities: An alternative to crowed beaches: 4 lakes. The bathing lake is part of the Pontet Leisure Park. It is a haven of peace with family activities in a 30-hectare park at the end of the valley. A typical mountain environment containing a full range of leisure facilities: tennis, golf, archery, horse riding centre, mini-golf, pedalos, fishing, children's games, adventure trail, theme trails, climbing, summer ski jump and biathlon.
The Le Pontet bathing lake opens in early July. Entry is free, and supervision and maintenance services are provided. It is a natural lake, covering 5000 m2 and is maximum 180 cm deep. The heating system is also natural : the water flows gently into a second, small pool shallower and well exposed to the sun, to reach a temperature between 19 and 25 degrees. The sandy beaches slope steadily down to the water; a shallow area for small children. There is a footbridge to cross the pool; surrounded by greenery.
Cleaning is taking care of - we have a dedicated cleaning team who looks forward to welcoming you. Upon arrival the beds are made. Bedlinen, towels, tea towels are all available. If you are travelling with young children we have a travel cot on-site.
There is plenty of storage space and you don't have live out of a suitcase for a whole week.

Summary: We spent a very nice week in Kim’s flat.The flat is right in the center of the town where you reach by foot the bus to the ski resort, supermarket, bakery, restaurants… and everything is only a few minutes walk available.The flat is perfect for 2 families.We appreciated the availability of Kim when we had some questions and we got always quick answers.We can recommend our stay in Kim’s location!

Summary: Fantastic property in excellent location. Ski bus stop 30 seconds walk away followed by a five minute ride. Nearest supermarket literally 30 yards away, numerous bars and restaurants all within a five minute walk.

Summary: We enjoyed a great time last week in Les Contamines, with surprisingly decent snow, great weather and almost spring like temperatures. We liked the apartment very much; it is spacious for six people with three bedrooms on two floors (two of which have alcoves which can offer additional sleeping space for kids/teenagers), a nice sitting room with chimney and balcony and two bathrooms. The appartment is very nicely furnished and one can feel that this is a place where the owners like to spend time themselves. We loved the location in the center of the town with shops and restaurants close by and free bus shuttle to the lifts. We never used our car during the whole week. We surely will come back.

Summary: A perfect chalet for two families at any time of year... Early April turned out to be brilliant, with literally nobody on the slopes but several days of great weather and awesome snow, even for one of us who was walking around the slopes with several restaurants within easy reach of the top gondola. At ground level, some good shops and equipment rental places. Plenty of restaurants if you can't be bothered to cook, but self-catering was a pleasure as the chalet has all you need and everything is on your door step, ideal for nipping out to shops which are right beside you - fresh croissants and baguettes always available and at least three supermarkets with anything fresh we needed, plus a travelling butcher where we stocked up on loads of steak, sausages and other goodies. Already looking forward to our next visit...!

Summary: We spent an amazing week in Le Petit Chamois. The chalet itself is lovely, with all three rooms very spacious. We had the family room, and all three of our children slept beautifully in the enormous bed under the eaves. The downstairs is very spacious, tastefully decorated and the kitchen very well equipt, opening onto a lovely sunny balcony where the children could play. The chalet is right in the centre of the village, so you can pop out to the shops, restaurants, play ground and ice rink after skiing. We used the local nursery for our two youngest, and it was brilliant - by far the best and friendliest we have experienced in the Alps. The ski bus stops right outside the chalet. The skiing was superb - no lift queues on the mountain, wide open, uncrowed slopes, and gorgeous mountain restaurants, and spectacular views. The children's ski school was great too. The afternoons were spent around the nursery slope in the village or at the stunning nature reserve 5 minutes away - all in all, a wonderfully relaxing week - we will most certainly be back.

Summary: Being grandparents (and still skiing) to a daughter and son and four grandchildren it was great to be together with the whole family in a spacious and well funtioning chalet during the X'mas holidays. When the little ones were sent to skischool, grandparents went cross contry and our children and in law went skiing in the morning. At lunch we all meet on top of the lift and enjoyed our meal, the sun and the company. And there was time to sneak off down the pist with my favorite daughter. When evening came we all liked to take part in preparing dinner, reading for the little ones in their cosy caves or just relax. The place has all sorts of activities right outside the door. We were amazed how well the chalet was funtioning - 6 adults and 4 children. We look forward to do it again - if not for skiing then may be in spring or summer with all the outdoor activies. The place is just beautiful.
