Positive: Second time we stayed here and chose it specifically since its within a lot of great eats (國華街/永樂市場) and also walking distance to a lot of historical sites (赤崁樓 and 神農街), very photogenic to put on one's socials. Also, the communal space and kitchen was very comfortable and convenient.

Negative: nothing really, if there were self service laundry facilities it would have been nice. Every thing is self serviced and the owners provided access codes for us to get in and out, which is how most places are like now (less human interaction).

Summary: Location is great if you want to experience old town Tainan and go on eating excursions.

Positive: Location is good. Easy walking to most eateries we want to have our meals. It is in a lane but not too far in so quite ok. Complimentary drinks are available. However, can run out sometimes.

Negative: not sure if it is the weather hence, like a lot of mosquitoes. We can see a couple in the room as well no daily housekeeping or rather, no housekeeping at all hence, it is a downside for us. However, we can easily access fresh towels by just reaching into the cupboard outside our room. Though there is a washing cum dryer machine on the 5th floor but the whole room very unorganised so we didn't use it as felt very uncomfortable in the room.

Summary: Overall, i think Tainan is great place for food. but the whole city is very old

Positive: Location, Location, Location. Located in the West Central District of Tainan and one street over from Shennong Street. It's off of a major street and inside a small alley where only foot traffic and occasional motor scooter gets by so this location is extremely quiet. Place is clean and modern. The staff that met us was kind and helpful.

Negative: The bed was awful. It was extremely hard. We can feel every sing spring poking back at us. A memory foam bed or even just a mattress topper would have helped dramatically.

Summary: Clean, Quiet home stay but could use better beds.

Positive: The location is excellent. Since it's a downtown area, all the food I wanted, like beef soup, was nearby. The room was very spacious.

Negative: One of the beds was too soft, so it was very uncomfortable when lying down.

Summary: Everything was perfect except for the bed being too soft. Highly recommended!

Positive: Location was nice and quiet and within walking distance (10-20min) of most attractions and good eats. Indoor lift, very convenient too.

Negative: Nothing (with a car, you’d have to park in the local parking lot)
