Summary: This house is a great option for anyone staying with a large group. The space is very spread out, and the interior is gorgeous. Host was very responsive, and the location is a quick drive anywhere you need to be in Austin. I rented this home for a bachelor party and planned a lot of outdoor activities, but it was a great bonus to have this tremendous home for down time. Everyone agreed that it was an incredible place to stay.

Summary: We had 16 people ages 30+ staying at this property which was plenty big to accommodate 16. The space is great, but a couple items made it less than ideal and we would not choose to stay again. 1. This owner has two what we can only assume are feral cats living at the property that were not disclosed until check in. The cats are not include in the property listing. We had several folks in our group allergic to cats and while it was too cold to use the pool, we could not use the outside patio because of the amount of cat hair in the area. There is also cat hair everywhere in the pool. We would’ve appreciated knowing about this in advance. Had we known there were cats, we would not have stayed at the property given the allergies in the group. They are not declawed and unsure if they are vaccinated. 2. We had plumbing problems for the weekend. The property has two houses - one large house, one small house. The small house for our weekend only had 4 people staying in it. On our last day and night, there was SEVERE plumbing issues where sewage was coming through the bathtub. We turned off toilets for the day and that house became unusable. The sewage remained in the bathtub all night. We contacted the owner who was concerned about the issue. Unfortunately she couldn’t get a plumber there until after our stay and afterwords blamed the backup on us after we had followed all policies. Overall - nice space, but these issues would prevent me from staying again.
