Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and well equipped waterfront home. Family meals, sunsets over the water and starry nights by the firepit.

Summary: Slice of Heaven had all of the basics our group needed, but lacked a few things we would have liked. Pros: there are tons of activities in the area and at the house. The hosts do a good job of providing boats, games, nice sitting areas, etc. Not their fault, but you cannot get in the water in this area May-October due to the jelly fish. Our kids were disappointed about this, but still had fun fishing and crabbing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Cons: there is only one full bathroom and it is a shower. This is tough for multiple families staying together. This was accurately reflected in the description, but we missed it! Also, the shower in this bathroom sprays into the bathroom floor so it's hard to get the shower started without creating a puddle on the floor. Easily fixed, but there are no bedside lamps and there was a bit of an ant issue while we were there even though we were very careful about cleaning up after ourselves. Again, overall a nice stay, but be sure to read through the description before booking!

Summary: Our family had a wonderful stay! The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location was private and quiet. Communication was superb and check in was flawless!!! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!!!!

Summary: Place was perfect for my family. We enjoyed it very much. There is a very secluded beach about 15 minutes away which was a big bonus. Would recommend!

Summary: A group of friends and I had such a great time getting together here. Lisa was a very responsive host and the place was full of pleasant surprises, like plenty of games to play and enough water crafts for all 8 of us to be out on the bay together.

Summary: We had a wonderfully relaxing time and enjoyed watching the birds coming and going trying to decide where to nest. There were plenty of rooms and beds so everyone was comfortable. I could certainly see staying here again.

Summary: Spent a wonderful post-Thanksgiving weekend at Slice of Heaven. Enjoyed the local eateries, went to museums, played games at wineries, kayaked the Great Wicomico, enjoyed fireplace fires. Lisa was a wonderful hostess. We found everything exactly as was described. No problem with the internet streaming. We WILL be back.

Summary: This house was stocked and supplied like no other house we have stayed in. Plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, kitchen utensils, cleaning products, etc. The layout of the house was very agreeable. A large eating and living space is where we spent most of our time. And the 2 kid rooms were perfect even for teenagers. The extra watersport gear was very useful as well. We had 6 teeneage boys with us and they went out all day on the canoes and kayaks. The location is great and still fairly convenient to towns and shopping areas, not to mention the location to the bay. There is a beautiful, large sand beach within minutes by boat from the house. The dock was very nice; we brought our 23' power boat over and it worked out great. A slight word of caution is that there is a narrow channel to get to and from the house by boat. It can be a little tricky and it is much easier during high tides of course. That's nothing against the house, but something to consider if you want to bring your boat. OVERALL WE LOVED THIS HOUSE.
