Positive: This was one of my favourite places I have stayed, it was so homely, clean, and peaceful. There are wonderful walking trails around the property and Paddy and Eithne were absolutely wonderful.

Positive: A unique property and Asian influence and architecture! Only slept two nights but could have spent a week or more there no problem! So cosy - beautiful view peering outside the “glass house” panes of the windows overseeing the bush! Loved the spiral stairs leading us up to the bedroom with a skylight that breathes in a melodic bird symphony in the early morning! Not to mention the gorgeous property owners Paddy & Eithne who were outstanding hosts!

Positive: My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the Sligo forest retreat. It was beautifully remote and so quiet/peaceful, just what we needed. Our dog had the best time exploring and we especially enjoyed our morning coffee with the hosts lovely dog - Winnie! The location is perfect, it has a stunning lake nearby for swimming. During our stay we visited Galway, Westport, Sligo town, Strandhill, Donegal, Leitrim all within 1.5 hours drive and it was wonderful to have a quiet place to come back to after a busy day. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, friendly and full of helpful recommendations. We hope to return!

Positive: This was exactly what we wanted for a two night secluded rest stop on our tour of Ireland. Great to be deep in the forest and because it rained a lot we were very comfortable relaxing and using the sauna. We had issues with the hot water but Paddy was on hand with his toolkit! Highly recommend

Positive: It’s a nice open plan property that is very up to date and modern, being in a forest it is lovely to wake up to nature surrounding you. The owners are very good people even went to the effort of making us a nice wheaten bread which was very thoughtful. If you are an outdoorsy person this is a very high recommendation to stay here I cannot fault it one bit.
