Positive: SLOE is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, a truly wonderful, simplistic space, beautiful views and all the essentials you need to hide away. The location is also great for exploring the surrounding area and the local village has some lovely food options, Post is an absolute must - excellent food and such lovely staff - and the pizza from the Black Pig is delicious though would recommend ordering ahead (we got lucky - thank you for being so accommodating!) Yvonne was so welcoming and super attentive to any queries we had, and the local produce from the farm was such a gorgeous touch and so appreciated, plus we loved reading the newspaper - such a brilliant idea! Could not recommend more highly, the truth really is in the name. We haven’t stopped talking about it since our stay in March. 5 out of 5 sunrise.

Positive: Everything! The accommodation is finished to such a high standard and feels really luxurious. We especially loved the outdoor bath – it was beautiful and such a relaxing experience. The little touches made a huge difference, from the curated Spotify playlist to the delicious local produce for breakfast. Even the toilet was next level, with a heated seat and self-cleaning features which just added to the overall experience! The location is perfect for exploring, and visiting Puzzlewood was a real highlight – such a unique and magical place. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Negative: Nothing at all – everything was spot on. If we had to suggest one small addition, a fire pit outside would make it even more perfect, especially for relaxing in the evenings.

Positive: The location was secluded and great for a peaceful getaway. The staff were so helpful and even left us some locally sourced produce like milk, eggs and homemade rock cakes which were delicious!!

Negative: Can’t fault it.

Positive: Highly recommend this place! Yvonne was lovely at check in and couldn’t be more helpful and there was a little hamper of goodies for the weekend. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The perfect location for a weekend recharge.

Positive: We spent a long weekend at ‘SLOE, we enjoyed every moment from the second we arrived. A warm welcome from Yvonne, along with a lovely surprise of a hamper filled with locally sourced goodies including fresh milk from the farm, honey, eggs, muesli, juice and more! There was also a personalised newspaper which included all the information we needed for our stay, so clever! The stylish, cosy interior was so well thought out, no detail was overlooked. The kitchen was practical and fully equipped for us to cook over the weekend. The bathroom included robes, heated flooring and an automatic smart toilet with a heated seat which we’ll definitely miss hahah! The views from the cabin overlooking the Severn were insane, we really appreciated the binoculars. So still and peaceful. On our last morning, Yvonne showed us around the family farm to see the cows and the whole milking process, we were welcomed to pick apples from the family orchard too; the hospitality was second to none. Thank you so much for hosting us at ‘SLOE, we’ll be sure to remember this experience for a long time to come
