3 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Golden

This architectural award winning luxury town-home offers a true ski-in, ski-out access and privacy. Completely equipped including, private state of the art outdoor hot tub, wireless internet, 3 decks, fireplace, BBQ, soaker tub/shower. Attached single heated garage. Bedding is top notch. Walk to 4 restaurants, general store and 2 pubs or just 10 minutes away from a world class golf course and biking and hiking trails. Lots of fishing and picnic areas.

Complete Professionally cleaned each stay.
Suited to a family or mature adults . (this is our second home). The neighborhood incorporates families who live and work year round thus the consideration for general peace and quiet.
We may be able to accommodate same day last minute bookings if coordinated. We may accept single nights during the week (Mon - Thurs) if coordinated. (call ) .
Any stays that fall during a long weekend must be minimum of 3 nights.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 750 CAD is due on arrival.
Credit Card is accepted for credit card damage deposit "hold"
Pet Policy, Deposit and Fees
Pets are allowed.
Fee of 18.00 CAD is charged for every 1 day(s). (based on a minimum of 1 days) (Charged Any number of pets.)

Cost is shared with owner ( and assumes tidying up) in an effort to keep fees as low as possible. This one time fee assumes basic tidying up, dishes clean etc,

Cleaning/Maid service is included in the rent and occurs every 8 days during a stay.

Crystal lake is a 10 minute drive/taxi from the property. The sand and rocks beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. There is a public boat launch ramp.
Snow Skiing and Boarding
Ski/Board Out is directly to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is a 2 minute walk to the property.
This is a true ski-in ski-out direct to door collection of 18 town homes. You can ski directly downhill (1 minute) on a path that leads to Gondola. There is no walking necessary until spring skiing break up.

Summary: We had a great trip to the Banff/Golden Area. The condo fit our family perfectly. Having the hot tub at the end of the day to relax in was a huge hit as well. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Even though we had to do a little more driving, the accommodations made it worth while. It took some planning, but we were able to leave in the morning and be gone most of the day to see and hike many sights. Way more affordable here than staying in Banff area with a family of 6 young adults. You do get your exercise going up and down the stairs, but main floor master was perfect for parents and we made the kids do the climbing. We would go back.

Summary: The home was gorgeous and very comfortable. The views from the hot tub deck were incredibly beautiful and the view from the master bedroom of the ski slopes was also wonderful. We could easily walk to the Pioneer chair each morning and skied back every afternoon. We had everything we needed. The communication was very prompt and kind.

Summary: Some friends and I rented Bear’s property for a low-key ski weekend. The process was simple and we really enjoyed our stay. Easy to get on/off the hill and we were able to put together some great meals after a post ski hot tub.

Summary: Great place, real ski in ski out. It was not so clear that the name of the property "selkirk 17" also refered to the door number. When we arrived at the adress and realised that there were multiple cottage with the same adress we had to look a bit before checking in. The internet was really bad, almost impossible to use...

Summary: Friends kids were getting married at the top of the mountain. This was a convenient location and layout and the owners were easy to deal with. Overall the unit was very nicely appointed. The only reason I gave it four stars was the master bathroom shower head needed some work. I'm sure it will be taken care of. Would recommend it

Summary: 5 adults stayed here for a skiing trip. It is a short walk to ski. The hot tub was very nice after a day of skiing. The kitchen is small if you like to cook. It would have been nice if there was a TV to watch movies in the evening or catch a hockey game. There is really nothing to do after the ski resort closes down in the afternoon.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay! The location was excellent. It was a very short ski to the gondola. The condo was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for our family of four. Summary: The condo was nice and clean, nice furnishings, and communication with the host was excellent. The location was central to both Yoho and Glacier parks. This would be a great condo for a family… for two couples, not as ideal as second and third bedrooms were very small. We also weren’t aware that the restaurant and gondola were shut down mid October. But would recommend for other times of the year!
