Positive: Convenient location away from the busier places like Patong. Its even a viable walk from the airport, although I wouldn't recommend it with luggage and during the heat of the day. Short walk to the beach, a 7-11 nearby that unfortunately is one of very few that doesn't sell beer. Night market around the corner offering various eating and other options. Small restaurants around, but don't expect breakfast at any of them before 8 or 08:30. Room was adequate rather than spacious, whilst the bathroom was large with an instant shower heater.

Negative: As the room overlooked the beach road I anticipated traffic noise might be an issue, however it gets quiet early at night and wasn't an issue, there are no noisy bars or venues close by at all. Early morning and the odd modified muffler motor bike passing by might be heard. Had no issue getting to sleep.

Summary: An unpretentious place that could describe itself as a hotel or guest house rather than hostel

Positive: The location is good, close to a 7/11 and about 5 mins walking to the beach. Very beautifully decorated and super clean rooms. Also I liked that the aircon doesn’r blow directly on bed. Lovely balcony where you can eat your breakfast.

Negative: It is near a road, so there is quite some traffic, did not bother me. The only thing I missed, was pillows on the balcony chairs. I would stay here again.

Summary: Beautuful, clean, nice owner and good location

Positive: The room was nice, it was close to the airport and to Nai Yang beach, which was lovely. The room was large and had a breakfast bar with nice view.

Negative: There were quite a few stairs to carry my suitcases, not ideal after a long journey. There was a bit of a language barrier, but got there in the end.
