Summary: The property is very well hidden and extremely private - it's tucked away behind the main house which is itself set off the road through an archway that can be quite hard to spot. Despite all the details we were given, we found that arriving in the dark to find nobody about quite daunting - once you're in the main property, the gite itself was quite hard to find among all the buildings. However, once found, it was well equipped, warm, and comfortable, and the position was very convenient for the coast and inland sights (including an excellent walk to Omaha beach). Would have preferred a bit more kitchen room (there's very little worktop) as we cooked at home a lot, and the bathroom is in the bedroom but the loo is at the other side of the lounge. We soon came to see the place as home, however, and once we met them the hosts were friendly and kind - but we only saw them once during our stay. Really comfortable bed, good heating, lots of hot water.

Summary: Fabienne was a wonderful and kind host. Her property is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Enjoy this true French treasure. The apartment is lovely. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. The next time we travel in the area we will try to come again.

Summary: This property was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, warm and welcoming and very convenient to all of the Normandy beaches and D-Day historical sites. The owner/manager was incredibly friendly, informative and helpful with directions and other amenities close by. If a return visit became an opportunity I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again!

Summary: Thanks to the sunny weather we had a very nice stay in Normandy. The “ gite “ we stayed in was small, but comfortable and nicely decorated. We slept in a comfortable bed. Everthing what 2 persons needed was there. Thanks to the charming lady. I recommend this place high.

Summary: This wonderful apartment is in the heart of Normandy. Spectacular old building with beautiful redone interior. Close to some really great restaurants in Port-en-Bessin and short driving distances to most of the Normandy Memorials and Bayeux.
