This small house, (30 M2) was part of the main mansion and was used in the 19th century to house gardeners. The premises have fortunately been modernized and offer a living space with an alcove sleeping area, a small bathroom with shower, separate toilets, and a kitchenette open to the living space. The kitchenette is equipped with fridge, microwave, hob, toaster, and all the basic utensils and crockery to prepare a simple '' holiday '' kitchen.
The living room includes a round table, armchairs, wardrobe, TV, radio, small electric English stove to warm the atmosphere on cooler days, double bed (140 cm) with heating mattress. The place is perfect for a couple given the small size of the house.
During the summer or spring a barbecue, and garden furniture, table, chairs and sun loungers are dedicated to the house.
There is private parking on the property. Free and welcome access to all parts of the garden.
we are located in a small countryside village, equidistant (about 30mn) from sites like Etretat, Honfleur, Le Havre, and Rouen or Caen are 50 'from the house. The beautiful villages of the Seine loops start just 15 minutes by car.

Access to the private sauna is by prior reservation, with a supplement of 16 euros and subject to availability.
Non smoking area. Sorry, but no animals inside. The garden is however very welcoming for birds, frogs or hedgehogs.

Summary: Everything about my stay was wonderful. The garden was magic with a never-ending series of hidden corners to discover - ever-evolving. The cottage was very well-stocked with anything I could need. I really enjoyed meeting Jacques and his wife, and Cécile. As far as cooking goes, it was so nice to have a selection of things to use and the treats all disappeared the first night! Mariannick really knows how to make a person feel welcome. My favourite 'home away' in more than 20 years. THANK you!

Summary: Marrianick and Christer could not have been more welcoming and friendly. We instantly felt at home in this stunning little cottage. The gardens are exquisite and a delight to walk around and sit in. Particularly early evening, where you can catch the last of the day’s sun, surrounded by a vast array of plants and flowers in bloom. The local area is simply beautiful, spotless and very peaceful. There are many interesting places to visit that are only a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and found it hard to leave. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both and take care. Summary: Wonderful hosts who spoke fluent English The house was set in the most beautiful gardens that you could use The house is a large studio that was very warm and cosy with a comfortable bed Everything you needed for your stay and a few special extras provided by our hosts A very good small supermarket 10 mins away, a small town about 15 mins away and a very large supermarket about 20 mins away Very convenient location to visit many places We drove along the Seine and crossed it using 2 free car ferries very picturesque Visited Honfleur well worth the trip Easy journey from Euro-Tunnel

Summary: After a busy weekend in Nantes we stayed here to relax for 2 days before getting the ferry home from Dieppe. It was Beautiful and had absolutely everything we needed! Mariannick and her husband were exceptional hosts, friendly, welcoming and so informative about the area. The gorgeous little cottage was set in the garden of the main house but you would think it was in the middle of nowhere it was so peaceful, we had absolutely everything we needed and the facilities were excellent! Summary: Thank you so much Mariannick for making our short stay in Normandy so nice and comfy. The cottage is fully equipped and there are so many little attentions that the host left around the house (chocolate on the pillow; organic cereals for breakfast; and of course homemade jam in the fridge). The village is quite cute and perfect to explore all of Normandy's hotspots and cute villages. We strongly recommand to check out this place !!

Summary: Beautiful stay. Felt like we had stepped into the pages of a Jane Austen novel. The garden is amazing. Perfect for sitting with a glass of wine. Conveniently located near Étretat, Honfleur and Rouen but away from all the noisy tourism. The internet was a little sporadic; but the perfect excuse to disconnnect from it all. The attentive hosts make your stay extra special with snacks, coffee and other essentials. The perfect choice!
