The house is located 25 km away from Krabi Airport. This house was built in 2010 and is very well maintained and recently upgraded with an outdoor Jacuzzi, bathroom extension, new furniture and new kitchen inventory. House is suitable for 2 adults, but children are welcome. The living room has a sofa bed and an additional cot is possible. There are three shops at 150 m, restaurant 300 m, ATV Adventure 200 meters, Elephant Trekking 500 meters etc. The location of this property is ideal for making day trips and excursions. Nearby attractions, Emerald Pool Cristal, Koh Hong Island, 4 Island trip, Tiger Cave Temple, James Bond Island, Maya Bay Phi Phi Island, Koh Panyee Island, Railay Beach, Thalane Bay kayaking etc. etc.

Summary: This small vacation home offers great value for the money, being the only private accommodation suitable for 2 people that I found in the whole area. The rest seems to consist of large and expensive multi-units houses to be shared by several families, or resorts with private bungalows (also more expensive). This house is comfortable, tastefully decorated, with A/C in living room and bedroom, a large smart TV with reliable Internet service, and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. The kitchen has a two-burners electric stove top and full-size refrigerator with freezer. Everything is high quality and very new. There is a washer with dryer in the back porch, and a Jacuzzi in the back yard with cool water (very nice for a plunge in the hot, humid afternoons). The house has a small but well kept yard all around, and is separated from the road by a privacy wall and from the main house (the owners' residence) by a green hedge. However, the owners are always available to help with making tours reservations, driving guests to the grocery store, or sharing their collection of DVDs! The location is rather far from beaches and other tourist amenities (about 8-10Km), so that it is necessary to make arrangements for taxi service or rent a vehicle. But its isolation has advantages for those who like quiet: there is a dirt road right outside that leads to a peaceful rubber trees plantation, ideal for morning walks. There are also 2 excellent restaurants within walking distance on the main road and a beautiful and quiet beach 8 minutes away by car. Highly recommended for those who like a simple, quiet vacation in a lovely place.

Summary: This house was perfect for our stay. It is a short motor bike ride to beautiful beaches such at Klong Muang and Ao Nang. John and his wife were extremely helpful with directions and transport, and will even rent their motor bike to help you get around. The house was secluded from loud night life of the beaches but not too far to grab dinner or a drink and come back. The house was loaded with food and toiletries which we were able to use. The air conditioning works great and there is even a smart tv and full kitchen along with laundry. House is very updated and clean. I would definitely stay again! Thanks again!
