Summary: Check in was seamless, property was clean and adorably decorated. Thoughtful touches all around the house and it smelled amazing inside! Definitely recommend this place!

Summary: I had a conference in Mt Vernon. We chose to stay here instead of the hotel for the comfort and proximity to Rend Lake where we biked on Saturday. The cottage was very clean and reasonably comfortable. The host was responsive from the get go - didn't need her - she just responded right away when I inquired about checking in. Instructions for everything were clearly spelled out in the binder and on notecards. Lots of little niceties.
