Our modern waterfront house is ready for your holidays or weekends away. The Pavilion is a separate, private and self contained part of the house and is perfect for couples or for a small family/group of 4. It has two good size bedrooms, modern bathroom, separate toilet, combined lounge/dining room with a fully equipped kitchenette and a large (20m2) veranda.
Features: Queen bed, 2 x single beds, most comfortable lounge, extendable dining table, aircon in lounge room, ceiling fans in bedrooms, two wardrobes, quality furnishings, flat screen 42in TV in the lounge room and 32in TV (with DVD player) in the main bedroom, DVD player, CD player/radio, outdoor setting, large gas BBQ, linen and towels provided, DVDs, CDs, games, books, bath tub & shower, free wi-fi access.
The house is set high between the tree tops giving you a feel of serenity, quiet tranquil escape and providing glorious views of the lake. The sunsets over the water are spectacular and you can watch them from your own big covered veranda. You can enjoy lovely bushwalks, fishing, kayaking, swimming, water and jet skiing (bring your own boat/jetski) or you can do nothing at all.
Smiths Lake is a quiet holiday village situated approx 250km north of Sydney and 25km south of Forster. The lake is connected to our beautiful Cellito Beach. You can get to the beach by kayak (from the house) or by car (5min drive). In the village you will find a small general store, bottle shop, The Good Food Store, a butcher, a bakery, hairdresser/beautician and the famous Frothy Coffee cafe situated on the lake front (with boat hire facilities). There is also a small playground area for kids near the cafe. Pacific Palms Bowling Club has a nice restaurant and live entertainment on weekends.
Within 10min drive you will also have access to Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach, Elizabeth Beach in the Pacific Palms area - more shops, cafes and restaurants. Seal Rocks is only 15min drive away - great beaches, lighthouse walk and spectacular ocean views. Forster/Tuncurry is only about 20min drive away - you will find there large shopping centres, more beautiful beaches, pools, tennis courts, cinemas and more other holiday attractions.

You can have access to our fully equipped laundry ($5/load), double kayaks ($25/2 hours) & single kayaks ($20/2 hours), an amazing outdoor hanging daybed and other holiday equipment.

Summary: Loved this beautiful retreat in the bush with direct lakeside views. Loved the big bedrooms with comfy beds and the bath! The only thing I would change would be to visit in summer instead of winter so there would be more sun and the opportunity to use the lake. The owners have built a special place here.
