Summary: Wonderful high mountain view from comfortable porch. One bedroom has queen bed and other and 2 bunks. 2 baths. Do not bring large car as parking is very limited and hard to turn around. Very close to Maggie Valley. Very nice stay.

Our time there was nice and quiet, even while there were large events happening in town.The home is very dated, and while it was generally clean, it wasn't done thoroughly as the corners and high up areas showed old cobwebs and such.The view is nice, but we could not make use of the porch as it was completely taken over by spiderwebs

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This properties greatest asset is the view. While we did enjoy our stay, the parking situation was not ideal. Have to drive past home to a sort of cul de sac area in order to turn around and get headed back out. If there is a vehicle parked at home at end of cul de sac, it would be very difficult to turn around unless you drive a tiny little vehicle or are more skilled than we are. Had a little problem with stopped up tub but they sent someone out to deal with that pretty quickly. If you enjoy watching regular tv programming forget it. We had terrible time trying to figure out the remotes and type of programming available. Loved listening to the hymns played each evening presented via a local church's carillons while enjoying the views from the porch.

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation! We were very close to Tube World and Cataloochee Ski resort. This home was equipped with everything a small family or group of friends would need! The rooms were comfortable and the gas fireplace brought everyone together and kept us nice and toasty! It truly felt like a home away from home.

Summary: The view from this cabin is amazing! Getting to the cabin is a little difficult. The road to the cabin is winding and very steep! Once you are to the cabin it is extremely difficult to turn around especially in a big truck and almost impossible when the owner of the last cabin has his car parked. The cabin itself was accommodating but could definitely use some updating and better housekeeping.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time visiting Cherokee, Waynesville & Cataloochee valley. We found Maggie valley itself, still very old with not much in the way of restaurants. The house had a great view but was so old that it needed some special cleaning & renovation. Ice maker wasn’t working & the kitchen could have been better equipped. The bathrooms need some redoing for sure. If you have 4 people be aware that the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds..
