On an acre, the 1440 square foot Moose Manor sits at 7000 feet of elevation in the Tall Pines, between Flagstaff and Williams, the Gateway to the Grand Canyon. Beautifully decorated and furnished, it has two King Bedrooms, a sleeping loft with two twins and a queen futon, a comfy couch, plus a pack-and-play on request. It has two full bathrooms. It has a fully equipped kitchen, all linens, all the comforts of home, and then some. Children love the Rainbow Play Set in the back. Or, sit in front of the grand stone fireplace, and gaze out the floor-to-ceiling picture windows at the trees and wildlife.
Near the Grand Canyon, hiking, skiing, the Oak Hill Snowplay Area, fishing, biking, quadding, and a variety of family activities, including the Deer Farm, a great children’s petting zoo, Moose Manor is in a perfect location. Summary: The property was very nice, clean, and roomy for our family. It was in a good location for us to visit all the areas we wished to see. There were a few hickups with the internet, and a few things we found related to the house, but we would reccomend this proeprty to anyone wishing to stay in a cabin in the woods, close to the Grand Canyon.

Summary: Overall we really liked the property. I very much wanted to give this an overall 5 rating but we felt that some improvements need to happen. The property itself is beautiful and secluded. The owners were easily reachable and were able to help with wifi connectivity issues. However, in our opinion the following improvements could be made. 1. We felt that all of the closets were cluttered and in disarray. If these were cleaned and organized, we would have had an easy time of unpacking and storing our clothing as we were visiting for 4 nights. A dresser in each of the main bedrooms would have helped with this as well. 2. There were no garbage bag liners in the property. We did communicate with the owner, and they indicated the cleaning crew would deliver some, however, that never happened. Notification from the property said that all trash needed to be in plastic garbage bags before stowed in the outside bins or there was a $75.00 fine. If there is a fine like that, then the bags should have been provided. A couple of things that would be nice, but did not affect our rating are as follows: 1. A non-stick pan for cooking eggs. 2. Some kind of basic tv service. ( This is not a huge deal as most of our activities were outdoors, but it would have been nice to catch at least some local news in the morning. Outside of the things mentioned above, everything else was great.

Summary: Great stay. Beautiful cabin, beautiful location. Exactly as advertised. One minor problem, but host took care of it immediately. Would definitely recommend this location and other host properties.

Summary: This cabin was just perfect for us. We stayed here 3 nights and drove to the GC, explored Williams and just relaxed in the cabin and played cards. Beautiful area and very cozy and comfortable. We loved it!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The owners were very communicative leading up to our stay. The property was perfect for our winter getaway, and my 5 year old’s first trip to the snow in four years! In fact, he asked if we could move into the cabin for good. The property was also conveniently located to the Williams train depot, as we took the train to the Grand Canyon for a day. Overall, highly recommend.

Summary: We stayed with our daughter and son-in-law who are stationed in Tucson. We brought in the New Year in this wonderful cabin. This place is so cool, the open floor plan, gas fireplace, large picture window, loft, etc…. Very cool place. To top it off we got a heavy snow, watching it snow through the picture window was so relaxing. Visited Williams and Flagstaff, great places to shop and eat. Owner was great to work with and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend this property if relaxing in the woods is your main focus.

Summary: We had a fantastic weekend away in Flagstaff. This cabin comfortably fit our family of seven. The young kids enjoyed the swing set and playing in the woods. Such a great place to escape the heat and rent a reliable place nestled in the forest. Hosts were fantastic with communication and setting expectations. Would rent again!

Summary: Loved our time here. Close neighbors but still great view of trees and quiet for the most part. Loved eating and playing board games on the deck while enjoying chilly air the rain brought. Can hear train nearby but more of a fun/nostalgic noise. Didn’t disrupt our sleep. Highly recommend this place to escape PHX heat! Wifi wasn’t great but clearly stated in property description and with teens that’s a good feature for parents! I used wifi for half day of remote work with no problems. (Probably because kids/teens were sleeping and off their phones!)
