Positive: The location is what you are paying for. Walking to town is easy.
Negative: The listing said there would be a “well fitted kitchen.” This was a regular hotel room without a way to cook and a broken refrigerator. We were forced to throw away most of the food we traveled with because of this. I sent the host a picture of the broken refrigerator with the freezer caked with frost not allowing the door to close. The host made zero attempts at problem solving or rectifying the situation.
Summary: We made the best of our time despite the listing being false and the host unhelpful.

Positive: The studio room was clean and adequate, the bathroom was lovely with a jetted tub and a separate shower. The resort pool and hot tub was very nice. Icles Resort itself was very nice, quiet resort with nice grounds, restaurant on site.
Negative: The unit had a very thin blanket and an extra blanket was requested, which the owner was unable to provide :( There were several boxes of interesting coffee's however all were empty except one. There was a bag of regular coffee there. There was a coffee filter box, however it was empty. Owner said housekeeping would bring some by, but this never happened. Had to use paper towels to do a makeshift coffee filter. The freezer was caked with 4 inches of ice. Having it enclosedin wooden cabinet made it function poorly, however when I left the wooden cabinet door open, it worked just fine. Check in process through Aardvark was difficult, site would not upload required info and had to have it manually uploaded by phone at time of arrival to find out unit number/address and keycode. They wanted a $1,000. deposit for my 2 night stay, when I declined to give this they decreased it to $500. The company kept a hold on my credit card deposit for 5 days after my stay ended, which seemed excessive. I may just be unfamiliar with Aardvark, but this was a more difficult process than I usually encounter, especially since I had pre-paid through Booking.com in advance.

Positive: The location was beautiful. There was a temporary hiccup in our check-in but it was expeditiously resolved and we were delighted with the suite we got (902). It was so spacious and cozy :) From the art on the walls to the kitchen to the neat and beautiful bedrooms, I was quite pleased with the layout. We felt at home almost immediately. Enjoyed the local restaurants, hikes, and views. The walls were soundproof which kept most of the construction noise to a bare minimum (We happened to visit during some major road work construction) Overall, it was a very delightful stay.
Negative: The overall booking process could have been smoother. Suite 902 was wonderful. My only notes are: - It didn't have a coffee maker (the espresso machine was nice but limited pods and I brought my own coffee that couldn't be used) - the blinds leading to the outdoor patio are broken. couldn't turn them or open them :( - the door to the suite, though beautiful glass, allowed anyone to see directly into the kitchen. It felt like we didn't have privacy at times. - the card keys provided for access to the pool and hot tub, didn't work.
