Can be rented along with larger house next door https://www.vrbo.com/2422879. This cozy lake house sits on a extremely private wooded lot. Great fishing is just a few steps away at the dock and one slip private boathouse with a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake. The pier next to the boathouse has been updated/replaced. Great water [15 feet deep] for swimming or fishing right off the dock. Play a game of horseshoes by the fire to wind down for the evening. The driveway is very steep - please launch your boat before arrival. The boat launch is conveniently located just across Highway 431-just a few minutes away from the boathouse.
House nice hardwoods. All beds with quality mattresses and linens. Beautiful lake front views from all rooms with wide curtained windows. Main level includes living room with comfortable seating and flat screen TV, Fully equipped kitchen and separate breakfast or general dining area, master bedroom w/king bed and a full bathroom. Downstairs also offers beautiful lake views from all rooms, a second bathroom. 2nd bedroom has one double bed and two singles, great for sleeping kids. The 3rd bedroom is very private with a queen-sized bed, and its own window view of the lake; could function as a second master bedroom. Upper and lower porch and small screened in porch have a beautiful and slightly elevated view of the lake.
Early check-in/late check-out may be available if reservation schedule allows. Charge for early check-in or late check-out is $75 each.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay at this old school lake house. Access to the boat house is big plus.

Summary: Overall we used this rental property at home base as we attended a music festival in Cullman. It served this purpose appropriately but bottom line is this rental could be amazing with a complete remodel. In its current state, our family will probably not be choosing this location without some of the things below being addressed appropriately. PROS: Communication and response time was fantastic for any inquiry. Location on the lake and peacefulness of the setting was perfect. Views from the deck is really amazing. Within 15 minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Beds were good quality and very comfortable, providing great nights sleep. Decently stocked kitchen with most everything needed for cooking. CONS: The house and entire property is very old and it shows in most every way…so keep your expectations in check for what you are paying. The dock has no way to enjoy the 15 ft water at the end of the dock…only way to access water is from a ladder near the land, meaning you had to walk/swim through a lot of seaweed, etc. (appears the old one is broke and laying in the back yard). The dock and boat house is very old, so LOTS of nail heads way above the wood planks, making it semi dangerous if without some kind of water shoes/sandals. While there is a grill, be sure to make sure propane is also, since it wasn’t for our visit. The screened in porch has multiple huge holes and gaps so not really useful to get away from any bugs or mosquitoes.

Summary: I was so happy they had a baby gate to keep my one year old from going down the stairs!!! Small, cute house. Perfect if you have your own boat, the launch is super close and the boat house it perfect. Looks like it used to be a one bedroom house upstairs and the same downstairs but stairs added later. There is another kitchen downstairs and the room with 3 beds used to be living room, it is attaced to the kitchen. It can get hot at night without fans. Good house fir a good price.

Summary: If you are looking for a cozy little cabin with all things necessary for a weekend lake adventure, this is the place for you. We had two families of four and had plenty of space. Nothing fancy, just fun entertainment for all ages. Fire pit and horse shoes were great. Fishing was good. Easy to tie our boat up to the dock. Driveway is steep but doable and our four cars fit easily with room to turn around at bottom.

Summary: No instruction on how to open key box after dialing the code in. Detailed instructions should be posted at the box and also included in confirmation emails sent to guests. There is only 1 TV in house. Need at very least one for downstairs also Ceiling fans would also be very nice touch.
